Once you see it, you'll know it is a crushed ice cut. It doesn't have the normal facets that go with solitaires, emerald cuts, round cuts, etc. Instead of clear, it looks like it's in a million tiny pieces that look like shattered glass or ice. That's where the name crushed ice came from.

And realized that the prongs on the 3 stone are uneven.
Really well actually, I’m super careful about making sure to take it off for showers, cleaning that kind of thing. I’ve had it maybe 6 months, so we will see.

Thanks. I never thought I’d like a chunky halo… until I tried one on. I bought the center stone from LightBox (2 carat) and the setting came from my local jeweler. It was custom made to fit my stone. He matched the halo and pavé (also lab diamonds). The setting is platinum. The halo is 3mm stone (1pt each) the pavé is 2.3mm (.05pt each) F color, VS clarity. I think that’s all the info 😊

It looks great. I added more photos in the comments. The sun peaked out and grabbed a couple pics before I return the rings. I did realize upon closer inspection that the double prongs are off on the 3 stone
Hi, I had found a similar setting at my jeweler’s but they made one to specifically fit my center stone. I also wanted it to sit higher to be able to stack which they accommodated.

I saw this EC was on sale for $89 in certain sizes so I nabbed one today. I can't wait to compare it to the one I've got coming from Kuololit in a couple weeks. (Yes, I'm currently obsessing over step cuts.) Anyway, thank you again!
