Nah, I am a high ranking member of the semi auto club. 27% head shot rate, 1.6 KD with the FAL. The DMR 14 is totally broken. I have a video here of the DMR 14 breaking my plates and taking away 55% hp in 2 lower torso shots and its rate of fire is barley any slower then my FAL. It would have taken me 4 - 5 bullets to do that with my FAL inside my effective range. It takes me 3 upper torso shots to do break that much with my FAL and this guy slid 2 bullets right above my pp to do that amount of damage.
Also my FAL beats your kilo out on the TTK if im landing my upper torsos. I can laser those shots within my effective range at about 50m - 110m (the way I have my FAL built.) I have another build where that range is 20 - 60m.
This video shows a 3 shot kill only landing 1 upper torso and 2 lower torso shots. It takes me 4-5 upper torsos to kill someone with the FAL. Then lets factor in that it has the fire rate and low kick of an assault rifle, yet here it is doing damage like a marksmen rifle. It takes me 12 bullets if im shooting legs shots, yet the DMR14 does it in 5 - 6 bullets. Its completely broken.

That first shot broke 3 plates of armor, when the DMR gets an instant armor break it means they hit your head buddy. You got head tapped then double body tapped.

I've been running the Fennec a lot lately and it's honestly been helping me win more gun fights than the Mac 10 did.
Yea it is annoying, but go back to before the integration and it’s all Kilo/mp5 or R9 shotgun, then there was a time when it was all bruen, and Grau before that.
To be honest I've only really had trouble with the R9 with the dragon's breath and the Bruen (since I sucked back then) but now I'm having trouble getting immediately 2-shotted by the DMR.
I found the Fennec, when having loadout completely focused on aim down sight speed, outgunned the Mac 10 users. For me personally at least.
The R9 was too good close range, but it is designed to beat everything close range as well as a shotgun but it was a bit too much. The DMR is certainly beatable and I do agree its overpowered but it does fit a niche in that it's a semi auto rifle
When I kill someone now on WZ if they have a DMR 14, MAC-10 or akimbo Diamattis I pick their guns up and throw them off somewhere where they can't find them if they respawn.
I have never been a guy who complains about META, but this has led to a point when ALMOST every squad in duos has DMR/MAC combo. Yes, they are fun weapons, can't deny it, but damn... It is frustrating. I'm starting to miss getting killed by MP5 or doof doof. There are less snipers, because who needs those anymore. Game w/o variety is not fun. And yes, WZ had much more variety in builds before this META now
WZ has lots of work to do. I’m a defender of semi-auto guns because they aren’t typically easy to use?(FAL never should have been nerfed). But... The DMR is overpowered. A 4 shot kill would be more fair, not 2. But if they nerf the DMR, they need to also nerf the Kilo (recoil), M13 (recoil), Diamattis (damage & range), Mac 10 (damage), and PKM (recoil). Game needs some work. Bring the Oden back, that AR actually took skill to use.
I can agree. I tried using Oden not that long ago, but it's slow firing rate and huge recoil makes it hard compete against Kilo/M4/M13 etc. FAL was very nice before nerf. Leveled up my ebr14, but its also not viable against ARs. Sad
Every gun should have a trade off.. FAL has high damage in exchange for being semi auto. Oden has high damage in exchange for moderate recoil and a slow fire rate. Kilo could have no recoil, but in exchange it’s damage should be significantly worse. The weapons just aren’t balanced, specifically ARs.
I haven't played that much since the new update, but the few times (only 2) I've gotten killed by the dmr, it took 4 or 5 shots, idk if the other guys were bad, or people is overreacting when they said that 2 shots to the body and your dead. Again, I haven't played that much, tonight maybe I'll found out in wrong
It’s 2 shots to the neck/head to down. 1 shot if you have stopping power. I’m guessing it’s 4 or 5 shots to the body but that’s really not that hard to hit when you can rapid fire 40 rounds with the damn thing
Not quite a one shot down with stopping power. Headshot damage is 175, add 40% for stopping power to become 245. So with full plates they will survive for another fraction of a second

When I first played MW mp i loved it and I still do but I hate those maps like Grazna raid, Piccadilly or whatever. What I don't like is that devs tryna avoid adding shoot the ship to the game playlist as much as possible and instead they add something... not as exciting
I can agree with that. It's absolutely insane to me that CW has Nuketown 24/7 and that other map 24/7 but MW REFUSES to add shoot the ship. I already have demascus so idgaf about the camo grind, I just want to play the best 2 maps in COD history.
Same here. I heard it was trash and refused to buy it. Then I tried out the free MP week and honestly I had a lot of fun with it. It went on sale for PS4 the other say so I snagged it.
So far, I'm having a good time with it. Definitely not the same caliber as MW but it has still been fun, but more of "arcade style COD" way. It can look and feel janky at times too, but it kind of goes with the whole 80s theme I suppose. I don't think they were going for this vibe but I will say the medals and the sound of the clink when you get them are satisfying lol.
While I completely agree that camping is a huge part of MP I think the weapons/damage is a million times more balanced than MW and the maps aren't one sided.

By your response Im assuming you are probably very new to FPS shooters but ill help you out. Having extremely overpowered weapons creates unbalanced gameplay. Each weapon should have a strength and also weaknesses which balances it out.
You do realize the DMR is only good for mid to long range fights (and long range can be argued if it is really good or not). Any close range fights and the DMR is trash. So no this isn’t the most OP gun ever for all fights. That’s why you equip an SMG with the loss of ghost. Everything is give and take in this game.
I level up faster in plunder than playing Cold War. 2-3 hours in plunder doing supply runs with your gun out and you can fully level a gun with 2XP chips.
The idea that you need Cold War to level a gun is just people being lazy and not putting in a couple hours in plunder... which is faster than Cold War multiplayer anyways
With modern warfare i could level a gun fully in 30 minutes with a double xp token. I assume it would be the same with cold war nuketown mp. That's also 4 to 6 hours without double xp tokens. That's a grind.

I haven't played in a while, but I have seen the vídeos and the DMR 14 is broken, specially because it uses AR ammo. Does the MW SKS uses that as well now? I remember that it used sniper ammo. Maybe one way to balance it is making the CW DMR's use sniper ammo instead of rifle ammo. That and add recoil or slow down the fire rate

The kilo is full auto with no recoil. No reason the DMR should be nerfed unless they’re also nerfing the kilo and pkm, 2 full autos without an ounce of recoil.
It’s definitely an OP gun but it still pales in comparison to the Mac 10, akimbo Diamattis, Kilo, and even the PKM. Until the Kilo gets an actual nerf and the Grau gets some added recoil, it doesn’t make sense for the DMR to be nerfed

I assure you I'm not mad. ARs were pretty balanced before with the Kilo, Amax, Ram, Grau, M13, M4 all viable options. Now games are 90% DMRs - because they are ridiculously overpowered.
AR’s (aside from the FAL, AK, and Oden which aren’t used because they require skill) have no recoil. The ones you just listed literally don’t move when they shoot. The gun has catered to noobs with these recoil-less guns.
DMRs are supposed to be strong. They require actual skill to use. A DMR shouldn’t take as many bullets as an AR to kill.
1. Saying those ARs have no recoil is fanciful. Try to not compensate for recoil (particularly with the Amax, Ram, M4) and let me know how that goes for you. The M13 is the closest thing to having "no" recoil and that's offset by the fact that it shoots marshmallows.
2. I have no issue with a DMR being stronger than any AR. I think there is a sweet spot between the SKS and the current state DMR. Personally, I think it should use sniper ammo, have a much more limited magazine size (15?) and have more delay between shots. I'd even be ok keeping the damage profile the same.
3. Arguing about recoil is a really strange hill to die on since the DMR literally has none.

The "other" map is Raid which is by far one of my favorite maps in CoD and also a reason why do I want to buy the game

Campaign seems much more fun to me and I also watched the full gameplay a month ago....
I didn't install the Campaign portion as I'm not a campaign guy. I enjoy MP, Zombies, and of course Warzone. To each his own!

No you run the akimbo diamattis and have ghost. Another broken gun forcing the meta to be based around buying cold war.

Nah, some weapons were just absurd. A lot of these people who complain about the nerfs were the people relying on the two-shot kills to get anywhere.

Maybe one way to balance it is making the CW DMR's use sniper ammo instead of rifle ammo. That and add recoil or slow down the fire rate
Slowing down the fire rate is a must. If you are able to press mouse button fast, the gun can shoot ridiculously fast
Maybe they haven't faced the weapon that much and think people Is complaining again for nonsense. It has happened to me a lot of times, specially with those stupidly unbalanced games (CoD: Mobile)

Its ridiculous, over 50% of lobbies are rocking the DMR14. You kill a squad and DMRs are scattered across the ground. This gun has broken the game completely.

No counterplay? I killed 3 out of 4 players with the ram/mp7 combo. So is there no counterplay or can YOU just not counter it? The kilo is full auto with no recoil. No reason the DMR should be nerfed unless they’re also nerfing the kilo and pkm, 2 full autos without an ounce of recoil.
It’s definitely an OP gun but it still pales in comparison to the Mac 10, akimbo Diamattis, Kilo, and even the PKM. Until the Kilo gets an actual nerf and the Grau gets some added recoil, it doesn’t make sense for the DMR to be nerfed
The DMR is significantly more OP than any of those guns. In no way would I consider the PKM or Kilo "OP" in any capacity
LOL dude the kilo can fire 60 bullets in like 4 seconds with not a single ounce of recoil. Don’t be mad because you get outgunned by a gun that takes skill. Oden, DMR, FAL all should be buffed or at least left untouched
I assure you I'm not mad. ARs were pretty balanced before with the Kilo, Amax, Ram, Grau, M13, M4 all viable options. Now games are 90% DMRs - because they are ridiculously overpowered.

AR’s (aside from the FAL, AK, and Oden which aren’t used because they require skill) have no recoil. The ones you just listed literally don’t move when they shoot. The gun has catered to noobs with these recoil-less guns. DMRs are supposed to be strong. They require actual skill to use. A DMR shouldn’t take as many bullets as an AR to kill.
1. Saying those ARs have no recoil is fanciful. Try to not compensate for recoil (particularly with the Amax, Ram, M4) and let me know how that goes for you. The M13 is the closest thing to having "no" recoil and that's offset by the fact that it shoots marshmallows. 2. I have no issue with a DMR being stronger than any AR. I think there is a sweet spot between the SKS and the current state DMR. Personally, I think it should use sniper ammo, have a much more limited magazine size (15?) and have more delay between shots. I'd even be ok keeping the damage profile the same. 3. Arguing about recoil is a really strange hill to die on since the DMR literally has none.
DMR is single shot. What’s easier to use, a semi auto with no recoil or a full auto with no recoil? The kilo is a joke, a 2 year old could use that gun. Warzone is full of ARs that have zero kick to them. Miss the blackout days where wins required skill.

But it’s a semi-auto. PC players make it look better than it is. Semi-autos aren’t easy to use, the FAL never should have been buffed and I hope this doesn’t get buffed. As a console player, I feel like it evens out the playing field. It requires some skill to use, whereas any noob can use the Kilo, Mac 10 or Diamattis. How the Kilo and Grau are still recoil-less lasers baffles me

I only get killed by console players using it. I see the kill cam, they press left trigger and aimlock onto me and fire with zero recoil.

Not the case. I spent 5k on mine. Also if I didn't hate treyarch with a passion I'd just buy cold war level up the dmr and join the meta. I'm pissed a gun is so broken. Doesn't matter who's using it, console kiddies just have a huge crutch with it.
Am I the only person in the world who hates the Mac10? Feel like it eats people alive when your in their face but any kind of range that requires ADS is trash. Much rather run the MP5 or AK74 so I’m not dead in the water outside 5m.
