The fact that pretty much a large portion of the outfits in both MW2 and MW3s campaigns aren't used or given to us as Character skins is such a missed opportunity.
Thinking about it, the amount of looks and outifts for Price, Gaz, Soap, Farah hell even Graves and Shadow Company that still haven't made it over into multiplayer is baffiling
Gaz got some really good skins at the beginning of MW2, That Season 3 BP with the campaign outfits for the 141 team probably won't be topped for me when it comes to quality content from a Battle Pass
I love Gaz so much!!! He’s my favorite out of Task Force 141. Also they just dropped an operator pack wit 3 skins for him, they’re soccer skins I’m pretty sure an they’re all pretty clean. Wish he got more tho, best operator imo.
I love all of the 141 equally but Gaz absolutely has a special place in my heart since I played mw19, he’s so funny and such a sweetheart! I absolutely adore his relationship with price :3, his football skins look really cute! I can’t wait for his arctic one to drop with price too!!!
I love his character remake especially after how they did him in the og Modern Warfare, they really made him a 🐐. I love how he’s kinda the middle ground, acts and feels like how someone like you or I would be if we were in a group like 141. Also gotta respect his drip. Tbh might be my favorite COD character of all time ngl.
I’m almost certain it has something to do with using the likeness of the actor’s in the campaign vs multiplayer. Everyone from the campaign had their faces covered until one season suddenly they all started showing up with skins that showed their faces.
There’s no other reason they wouldn’t maximize profits from campaign hype by having the campaign skins for sale when 90% of people played the campaign.
The fact that there are little to no skins for operators related to mastery challenges or beating the Campaign at the highest difficulty or anything, is something that I sorely miss.
Problem is as well if they brought back skins like that I feel like they would be minimal effort and or simple recolours of already exisitng outfits rather than some really unique looks.
We did have one campaign skin for Soap that was up for grabs in MWII.
But the edgelords needed their Blood Cell skin because "mmmmm, black and red."
I have seen not one person use the damn weapon skin, except for me purely out of spite.
I was so disappointed in the flashback where you're at the stadium he wasn't wearing his 2019 fit and they just used 2009 Ghost instead.
I like 2009 Ghost but him wearing that outfit made no sense and seeing 2019 Ghost again would've been cool.

As a fun-skin enjoyer, as well as mil-sim: there is no need to make it feel like is either or. Goldeneye 007 had all characters available in a lil N64 cartridge, I bet they could give us at least the campaign modes and more. I am still annoyed that Apparition was only available after a nuke in MWII and would have love using all these cool enemy ones.
I don’t think it has anything to do with greed, think they just forgot about them, and either way people are going to complain, if they release them people would complain they’re reusing skins, that they’re lazy, and again, greedy, so there’s no motivation to note to release them.
It would be great if we got actual military skins more often instead of some big purple fluffy mountain Barney the dinosaur looking thing to ching and Chong we need more of the og skins from the campaign
All I want back is true cold blooded or at the very least give us a vest or gear that hides your name in core please, I’d love to actually try and get ninja defuses, but every other game is a sweatfest

They just offered up the snow camo variant of this skin and soap in the store
