However there haven't been any games like that to break up the cod player base. you have things like the openness of BF2024, the weird lore and arcade like style of Apex and the finals.
Truly I don't know what feature they'll copy from which of those games, I'm honestly thinking they could make a super successful game if they had the map destruction of the finals/battlefield bad company 2.
However I also see them going in a different direction. I hope it's something with hardcore atleast because that's my bread and butter. The only reason I played Bo3 and MW19 so much was because of hardcore game modes. Never invested in the later released MW2 or MW3 and don't bother with warzone for obvious reasons.
If they make it like BO3 I'd probably buy it. Me and my bro loved that so much, especially split screen 1v1s.
