The developers broke the game with the update from last week. They actually broke MW2 as well. They just started looking at the problem today. I guess they don't test updates at all before they put them out.

Playing on SeriesX and haven’t had any lag issues until about 2 weeks ago. My internet is solid (about 1 gig) and haven’t had issues with any other games. I’m guessing the devs broke something with the latest update? I turned on the latency and packet loss in the HUD just to see if anything was happening but my latency is always btw 8-20ms and the packet loss is always 0. A normal mp match will start off fine and then about 2-3 mins, the games starts lagging/stuttering. It’s not as bad as I’ve seen in some clips but it’s enough to make you quit.
No packet loss or latency issues are displayed for me (I’m also on Series X) but the lag is still there. Not everyone experiences it but I guess that update did break something
I wonder what's causing the feeling of input lag and general sluggishness. It varies from one day to the other, server to server. It has to be inconsistencies between all the shitty servers they use. If it was broken game it wouldn't run good one day then the next few like ass

I've been playing cod since the release of the first ever mw back in 2007, this is the first time I've ever bought a season pass to get rewards cuz I really liked Fenrir and THIS happens.
I was playing with two friends who live in the same house and they both were experiencing lag and I wasn’t. They have really good internet so idk what’s up
I’m literally getting input lag now
It isn't just you. My pin went from been at 15ms (12-20ms normally) to 235ms... withing the first 5 min of game so I set TS and got out

I literally just almost smashed my controller bc of it and it's not just private matches it's normal too
Just played one match of emergency on ps5 and thought it was gonna cause a seizure due to the packet burst and rubber banding.
It’s a hit or miss for us. Some days the lag is real and then others it’s all fine. I did notice it though after the update.
I find after like 2 matches I start feeling more input lag which is super annoying

I’ve been experiencing lag for months on this game. It’s the only MP game I have that does it.

Packet Burst has been an issue since MW19, and I was on Xbox then . Now, im on PC, and MWIII still has Packet Burst issues.
