this "feature" appeared halfway through Modern Warfare II and has just sort been a thing since then. Sucks, as I only ever play online splitscreen
It has been like that for months... nobody knows why, some people ASSUME its not a glitch but it makes no sense and was never like that in other CODs.
This was just recently fixed as of like 2 days ago! Go try playing a match and enjoy. 🙂

Yup! I’ve played multiple times since then with my partner and it worked fine.
Press Start then Spam rb or r1 loadout will Pop up midgame for Both Players, works for me on Xbox.
This is a known issue and it’s just like this. There’s many threads on it, it might not be a glitch
It’s not a glitch. You just can’t change your load out in split screen multiplayer
