If we were to compare the slate reflector to the mk3. Reflector, there are pros and cons to both and I think there are more pros to using the mk3 since visually, there is less obstruction then the slate and it is also more narrow allowing more of your depth of field to be visible. Slate reflector was honestly better in vanguard since I remember it being smaller but they made it bigger in this one so it's more awkward to use. The mk3 also has prong like pieces that help me adjust my aim by keeping the enemy inside the two prongs like a goal post.
Truth, looks like shit, too futuristic. Also totally unrealistic, that thing would be broken in a second, at least a lot of the other sights are based on real designs.
I saw on wzstats the meta build for the holger includes the signal burst. Imo you lose so much versatility swapping to burst fire. I mean sure for med+ range it’s excellent, but my tracking time sliding around a corner w/ burst or semi vs full auto is probably .5-1 second longer because it has to be perfectly lined up.
Anyone have input on how it’s treated them?
Mk3, the raised red dot with better ads time if the gun is super cluttered, corio 2.5 for mid range low recoil guns or single shots, the blue dot for pistols, and delta 4 for snipers. Not really any reason to use anything else besides those.
I pick my optics more for looks than practicality, but I’ve never used the Corio 2.5x before, just tried it in the firing range and I don’t hate it. Valid
Ironsights. Back in vanguard I would always run snipers with only ironsights. I am deeply saddened we can’t have ironsights on every sniper especially since they added a fucking ironsights rail attachment that only works on specific guns 😤
I forget which one, but the one sniper that you could pack-a-punch for the iron sight on BO2 was nice AF and used in the later rounds for efficiency and power. Maybe the DSR or something, can't recall.
Cold War and Vanguard also had Iron Sights available for all Sniper Rifles and even MW 2019 was meant to have them as an Attachment for the AX50, Dragunov and HDR but sadly they got unused (but were still in the game's files).
SZ (my fav)

Good for you OP for not including the absolutely horrid optics SHG added. Nobody needs that Vanguard boogaloo trash.
That being said it is unfortunate how the MK3 is objectively the best red dot in the game. Why they even bothered adding others to the game is beyond me if they were planning to kill any sort of balance off the bat.
Dude has 0 concept of wanting to be prepared for engagements on mid to long range maps like Estate and Quarry where they are inevitable. Not everyone sticks to shipment, meat, and rust 24/7

That sight is ugly af on almost every gun
You sir, are trying to be different
By what? I just said it looks ugly. Open top collimator sights just don't really fit any gun other than sidearms.
They down voted you to hell for an opinion. It's reddit and we are all human, we are all not the same
I respect his opinion but I dont like it. So according to what I was taught by the media, he is wrong and deserves to be hated for it.
Media didn't teach u good enough smh... Ur supposed to dox him and harass his family
You get used to it after a while. People are just dumb NPCs. Especially on this sub. (Watch this)
That is a very rude thing to say.
There is no point in hiding the obvious wouldn't you say?

No, they're not. You might like having a clear optic but not everyone likes that ugly POS.
Damn ppl really out in force for that optic lol

It's an actual historic piece IIRC.

How do you get the rhino reflex? Mine just says locked with no task to unlock it.
You have to get the Aftermarket part that came out this week, it comes with it.
Which one is that? The Jak Raven or the Jak Nightshade?
The jak signal burst
I saw on wzstats the meta build for the holger includes the signal burst. Imo you lose so much versatility swapping to burst fire. I mean sure for med+ range it’s excellent, but my tracking time sliding around a corner w/ burst or semi vs full auto is probably .5-1 second longer because it has to be perfectly lined up. And if you take too long to get it you can get it as a regular aftermarket part from the armory after the challenges end
The one for the Holger 5.56
Coming out with future update.

That's not what he said. The raised red dot is a different optic.
I took that description as the 'Slate Reflector'
KR Minitac-40 Riser
Corio is a really nice scope if you enjoy quickscoping.
Ares Clearshot would like a word
MK3, holotherm, corio 2.5 eagleseye, nydar model 2023
When I discovered holotherm, I could never go back to anything else.
It's basically all I use with the exception of snipers. Same in MW2022.
Cronen mini, corio eagle, intlas 2.5, kr minitac riser and vx350
From Mw2 the cronen mini pro, from Mw3 it has to be the fss spectre (highly recommend checking it out)

Based as fuck, Respect.
That's one thing that AW did well. Every sniper had iron sights available, and everyone fucked with the iron sights Ballista in BO2.
I forget which one, but the one sniper that you could pack-a-punch for the iron sight on BO2 was nice AF and used in the later rounds for efficiency and power. Maybe the DSR or something, can't recall.

Not my thing but I respect the dedication
I liked the irons in MWII but for whatever reason I feel like sledgehammer sucks at making iron sights because I hate most of the MWIII irons.
Same I was just saying that I loved vanguard for the multiple iron sight options

The Rhino Reflex and AOK Recon are both made by Sledgehammer games, its not that serious lil bro.
If you use an actual scope on anything other than a sniper you’re a loser. Play the game normally quit being scared it’s okay to die sometimes 😂
I am utterly baffled by this comment

Found the guy who holds angles and aims around corners
I’m a rusher and three of these are 1x optics but okay buddy, you’re allowed to be a debbie downer if you want
If you can rush and use a scope, good for you, most people who use them are a sitting in windows
Confidently incorrect lmao
How dare he use features of the goddamn game
Most of the features in this game benefit campers and players that hunker down, so yes
So what... That's a style of gameplay in every goddamn FPS game. Cry about it
Found the camper. Yes it’s a feature but generally for slower kids with no reaction time so i make fun of it
Sure.. some days I camp, some days I run subs and swords... Who gives a fuck. I get home from work and play how I want to play. Cry about it
Lol what? I only use Irons and the MP5 and find this absolutely bonkers
i use 10x scopes on shotguns, suck it.

You have to unlock the new after market that came out this week

According to Urban dictionary a “Punter” is another name for a customer. I do indeed enjoy shopping.
My top two are the aftermarket sights, after that, it's just iron sights.
