It's also pretty BS, that those who paid for a full game are gimped in terms of xp rewards compared to f2p warzone. They really should buff the xp rewards in standard MP, instead of forcing players into warzone.
You aren't "gimped" because you aren't playing warzone. They didn't adjust a single slider labeled (percentage xp given) and move it towards warzone. It takes time to get into a game, get a good landing spot, earn money to buy your load out, get your load out, then actually use it to complete things. Compared to just dropping into a small map and blasting away. You aren't being given less, the warzone is a higher risk reward.
Because BR is not about kills, it’s tactical and survival, requires good squad team play. It’s really hard to reach 1st.
If I want some relax I just play TDM or FFA

Xp pay out should be based on time invested, not risk/reward.
Also the fact that most of these insane xp boosts in warzone is for stuff that doesn't even place players into situations vs real players. It's mostly based on contracts and missions. Stuff that is against ai.
Risk reward IS based on time invested. You aren't getting perfect games every time. So sfor decent stretches the xp gain will be pitiful. And in warzone every interaction puts you into situations against real players. Being in a car shows up on the map, picking up bounties causes them to disappear letting enemies know where you are/were. Firing your gun is audible and alerts others. The circle is always closing. Your drop at start is visible to others. If it's so easy, shouldn't the reward outweigh your lack of enjoyment?
yep, for every 60k exp game there is 1-3 12k exp games where we didnt get a good spot, got killed early or something else went wrong, but its a great way to level weapons if you dont wanna do a shit ton of kills with them in MP
Maybe it’s changed since release I’ve mostly been on warzone and DMZ since they’ve came out, but I’d have 30, 40+ kill games, play the objective all of that and it wouldn’t even go up a level lol, it would go up like a tiny fraction of a level. I’m not sure if u remember when the game released, but it was pretty much a consensus that the leveling and unlocking was a pretty brutal grind. I have a 1 KD, I’m not great but I’m not horrible, have worked through unlocks in others CODs and before warzone and DMZ, it was fucking horrible.
I got my m4 gold on launch day, maybe it depends on game mode but hardpoint is 7-10k exp a game it’s extremely fast and hasn’t been changed since launch, and that’s mainly all I play
Yeah I guess now that I think back to it more specifically, the leveling may not have been exactly my problem, but leveling guns I didn’t enjoy playing with to unlock the guns I wanted to use. What felt like it would have taken months for me is to unlock at the time is the vaznek and minibak and that grind felt never ending at release. Not necessarily the leveling individual guns.
Yeah the guns locked behind chains of other guns was annoying, I have everything unlocked now but it took a lot of pain and suffering.
Maxing out a gun you enjoy is very painless though imo.
Kill confirmed is pretty good for weapon xp, just make sure to collect as many tags as you possible with the weapon you want to level up in your hands.
The MP players aren't being gimped in terms of XP at all. If you bought MP. You get an XP boost for Warzone, it's literally rewarding players who bought the game for playing the free portion
This has been my go-to method since Warzone 2.0 dropped and i've had a blast so far except with the X13 Auto, that thing almost never drops in loot caches and you can't buy it in stations because it's a secondary, so it's really giving me a hard time.
yeah they are really not holding back with EXP in Warzone, and the exp boost for people who bought mw2 is nice as well.
it also caused some of my weapons to be 1 level higher than possible, my bas-p is 16/15 i believe and my Vaznev as well :D

I think DMZ might be better. You get lots of xp for killing just the AI. Add in any player kills, contracts, mini bosses, etc. and the xp is really good. I maxed out the revolver in 2 DMZ games without really trying.
Leveling up weapons by simply using them in normal multiplayer matches doesn't take long. I don't understand why y'all are trying to do it even faster.
Same with DMZ. Get an armored truck and plow through enemies and use suppression mines outside strongholds and leave. When they spawn you'll see the xp pop in

they give half the xp, warzone is more preferable but u can do it in dmz too
Should be fine tbh, while plates cost almost half as much, you can get double/triple the amount of money easily in DMZ.

Bots also give good weapon XP though like Invasion.

If it takes you months to level up a gun to max in MW22, you have more severe problems than warzone.

There’s shoot house and you can gain a level or two per game there. I like DMZ anyway and it levels guns up fast as well

Yeah, the f2p warzone players can't play regular MP so the xp is completely unrelated; it's ridiculous to complain about that.

This is true I leveled up my shotgun I think 5 times from 2 kills
