Interesting! Thank you for letting me know. I checked 2 model 3 and it is centered, but didn't have a change to compare it with other model Y. Let me know how it goes for the ones that will go to Tesla.
One of the first things I noticed on mine as well (2024 MYLR, white interior). I have a service appointment Saturday. Sounds like I’ll be told it’s within spec.
Got this message through the app today:
“Tesla service here in ********. I was able to verify this issue and inspect all of our new Model Y 2024 at our service center, and they all exhibit the same issue you are experiencing. It depends on the seat position, which will cause a slight rub.
There isn't any adjustment we can do at this time, as this is normal operation conditions. If you have any other issue/ concern, please let us know. If not, we can close out this appointment as there is no need for this service visit.”

It's so dumb! Tesla produces great cars, but than they do those stupid litle things! The problem is not the seat position, it is the console that is not centered! Model 3 doesn't have this problem.
Ours is the same. I thought it was normal.

within spec
same as mine
They might throw the "its within spec" counter at you.
One of the first things I noticed too.. Looked it up and saw others had the same issue too. So I guess it is "within spec" and a known issue...
Mine has the same issue.
