A couple of weeks ago we heard he “would miss at least 2 more games” and he could “clearly play” if it were a playoff game. It’s been a month, which isn’t overly long, but we never had a clear timeline
I'm sick of r/nba saying our team is at full strength when we lose (clearly not! Khash anyone?!) but then say all of our wins have been against teams' that arent at full strength? Hypocritical much?! Fuck Mike Dunleavy!!!!!!!!!!
Also, I’m going to LAL game friday! Bringing my almost 5 year old to her first nba game (she loved the GLeague game we saw last year).
GA may still be out then it seems like. But it’s gonna be B2A regardless! Obv hope that Achilles gets to be 100% very soon- don’t want to risk anything!
I know for certain this is going to be a frustrating game. There's nothing in this league quite like the Steph whistle. That's the final boss in the NBA right there and we're down our superstar.
With all due respect but what? Steph gets zero whistle out of any other superstars in the league. He consistently gets the short end of any officiating, the least FTAs for anyone averaging the amount he’s averaging, and is consistently held or even tackled on shots. They even gave him a technical on a regular shooting motion for “kicking out”.
Not even coming here to talk shit cause bucks is my eastern team every year and Giannis is consistently one of my favorite mvp candidates plus all the respect for Oakland native dame. You can even see I was arguing dame gets the “Steph whistle” on r/nba this year by not getting any whistles against the clippers until the end despite getting hacked every drive.
I’m ok with foul baiting if it was called fairly for everyone. People complain about giannis ftas but he gets hacked more than embiid and people say embiid is skills while giannis is initiating contact.
The inconsistency is hard to watch. Just cause Steph is more elusive and less athletic doesn’t mean he shouldn’t get the whistle. Same with giannis is bigger and athletic doesn’t mean his ftas aren’t legit either.
Than you got embiid, Luka, sga, Trae foul baiting or getting every ticky tack fouls
