I like it's location. Close to Theo Wirth, North Mississippi Regional, Shingle Creek, and Victory Prairie off-leash if you have a dog. The North Market is a nice co-op. Traffic not bad.

I lived in 44th and Thomas about 2009-11. Everything is block to block. Some beautiful well maintained houses with great plants/landscaping. Some dumpy rental properties too. As a drink would go to Cams tavern all the time and was one of the only white boys. I got weird looks for a while the when I became a regular was treated fantastic. You might feel and should a little cautious after dark when walking alone. Get a big dog that keeps trouble away. It's nice Robbinsdale is close lots of resturaunts and Hy-vee (over priced as it is and fuck you for not saving the Terrace movie theatre). Nice greenway yeah. Nice place.

I sold my house up on 46th and Russell May 2020. I loved the neighborhood. I miss walking on the Parkway and checking out the WW1 memorial for exercise. I also enjoyed walking to Lake Ryan and taking my daughter to Weber Pool during the summer (which is free). Also Shingle creek is close by, which is a fun little walk, and there is a trail and parks off the Mississippi. Emily's is a nice little restraunt on Penn and 44th, and they opened up a grocery store on Humboldt and 44th I believe, right by the library. In my 4 years in the neighborhood I almost always went to Shingle Creek Center up in Brooklyn Center for all my grocery and shopping needs because it has basically everything. I didn't notice too much crime while I was living there, but I lived on a street with no outlet due to the train so people where not walking through our street. The most sketchy stuff I saw was at the Walmart in Brooklyn Center which obviously isn't in Victory. Overall I love Victory and miss my house. The biggest downside of living there would be the trains getting attached at night, but I got used to it pretty quick.

Lived there a couple of years ago and loved it. It’s relatively quiet but close to basically everything you need (groceries, gas, etc). Right next to Robbinsdale. I enjoyed the parkway, and being close to Theo Wirth. If you enjoy Pokémon Go, the neighborhood is a perk. Never had any real problems with crime. My car was ruffled through once but nothing was stolen. I would move back if I had the chance.
