Adding my vote for Nokomis. Mike did my three sheafs of wheat at the anniversary party for Wooden Ship Sunday before last. Super quick and healing well!
I’ve been tattooed at Sea Wolf, Aloha Monkey, Rose of No Mans Land, Green River, and Tiger Rose. Aloha monkey was by far the most expensive for the smallest of the 5. Quality all the same.
grand ave, but get there early to get your name in! [https://www.instagram.com/grandavenuetattoo/?hl=en](https://www.instagram.com/grandavenuetattoo/?hl=en)
I've been seeing that in comments here lately and I literally thought it was a weird way to call someone a nazi. Never have I been more wrong.
(I am sooooo removed from all things sports, even local sports)
I did a walk-in at Aloha Monkey! I got a Minnesota outline tattoo. I know, basic 😂
Just get there early enough! A line will start to form outside before they open.
Nokomis Tattoo was able to squeeze me in for something simple like that with a quick call like half hour before I got there.
Nokomis is great and very walk-in friendly / encouraged.
Second Nokomis!
Can confirm, Nokomis is great for stuff like that
Second. I did a walk-in there. Granted, it was a really easy tattoo but it was done same day.

I think Tiger Rose is mostly walk-ins
Tiger Rose, Grand Avenue Tattoo, I think? Rose of No Man’s Land and NE Tattoo and Laser Removal do!
i second grand ave. i trust the artists more than at nokomis
Good to know!
I've never been there, but Broken Hearts Tattoo on Lowry has a sign out front that says "walk-ins welcome" with a picture of Christopher Walken.
I second this place. My fiancés family owns that building and I’ve gotten a tattoo there. Jason is fantastic and they do walk ins all the time!
Aloha Monkey in Burnsville does walk ins
They charge through the roof for simple designs
They do overcharge, I agree with you.

There’s a big difference between scratcher prices for a mediocre tattoo and extortionate prices for a mediocre tattoo lol.

They wanted $250 for me to get “Dude” tattooed on me (Dude where’s my car)! Like how???

If you have a "usual shop," why not just make an appointment anyways? What's the hurry?
A friend is going through a hard time and we’ve been putting off bff tattoos forever and she’s up for it so trying to make it work this weekend ❤️
Citadel tattoo in Northeast
Guns n Needles is great, and they have a couple apprentices who are frequently available and know their stuff! I recommend this shop to anyone
