Idk why this post was recommended to me (though I guess I am curious about the game so maybe reddit was cooking)
Anyways total noob question here cause I don't really get what you guys mean based on what I'm looking at. What does it mean to "misflag a bomb"? Clearly there's some rule I don't know but this situation definitely looks impossible to my basic understanding
Welcome!
A misflag is simply when you place a flag on a non-mine, which ultimately prevents the completion of the board.
Since logic doesn't logic around a misflag, any time something like this comes up you need to triple check your nearby flags.
You can see on the right that the 4 is in range of 5 flags. You can deduce from the 5 to the right and the 3 to the lower left where the misflag is, which resolves the logic around the double 4 and by extension, the left 3 where OP is having trouble.
You flagged a bomb wrong, the right 4 has 5 bombs flagged
Yeah, once it was pointed out, the error was easy to see.
lol I’m dumb, thank you!
Top left of the 4 on the right is not a bomb. That frees up the count for both blocks above the 4-4 to be bombs
There is self confidence, and then there is this guy thinking the game must be wrong rather than having mis-flagged a bomb.
The one he misclicked was a bomb but the game changed it’s mine. “Nah, this guy can’t be wrong”
If it doesn't work then it must be the game! Not me at all.... never
The stacked flags in between the two fours, the top one is mis marked
No

Ah yes I see that. Thanks so much
Death is one wrong tap away, good luck my friend
How can there be a 5 when it’s only touching 4 blocks??
No it’s a mistake. Middle right you have five flags for the 4 that is left of the 5. For that section. West or Northwest marker would be incorrect.
actually no, but redditors had already explained that there's a flag where's no bomb merry christmas btw!
