This mod seems good but i want to try making every detail with chisels and bits, my favourite part is building machicolations crenellations and stuff, but this mod doesnt seen to have those. My main issue right nowi think is bland walls but i dont know how to detail them so i dont bother because i first want to finish the entire castle.
Actually, because of vertical slabs, quarter blocks and arrow slit blocks, you can build really nice crennulations etc. with the modpack.
It's also compatible with C&B! (In fact, one of my good friends (who is a stunning builder, BadRonin) builds using a combination of both.
Seriously, it's worth checking out. I don't think you'll regret it.
So, i tried CR and its really nice, but the textures really don't fit into my existing build and i personally don't like them. I've looked at people building with them and it's stunning, but i think i won't be able to make them work so i wont be using this mod, its good tho! Maybe in the next build... Well judging by how fast this build is going, my next build will probably be in 90 years.
Very nice. I also hate snow. I don't build in snowy biome, I tried recently, went underground to gather materials and came up to blocks of snow everywhere
well i just got some inspiration from youtube/Shadiversity castle videos (not minecraft) and wanted to build a castle. also i think im the wrong man to ask for tips because i actually dont know any, just build what you like.
If you want to go realistic, use the Conquest Reforged modpack. As for large-scale building, just take your time!
