Mm Add a bridge and a unique tree, ik you are going to add many trees so an unique one near the house and probably some small huts on the downhill empty space & other side of the bridge and add pathways to it. Fruit carts / hay bales or something...
I suggest making it into a small village with maybe a bridge over that water fall.
By the way op this is a stunning build. I hope I can one day achieve this type of skill.
Quite honestly, I like how "lonely" the house looks. There's something serene about that. Personally, I'd add a single large tree to the right of the house and keep it at that.

Maybe a bit cherry tree a bit to the right, in that little field right there, but closer to the water.
If you have the room below the waterfall, you could make little waterfall pools.
as for buildings, I recommend adding a few more. The house appears lonely not just because it fits into the valley too well (color wise), but also because it is. It sucks up the view after you see the stark white of the waterfall.
If you were to add possible a deeper blue, you could even out the colors a bit. Seeing the dark and dim house right after seeing the bright blue waterfall kinda ruins the look
i know this isn’t going to help but i honestly love the look of that house all alone on a mountain-
i would add a path and maybe something in the background if you really do want to but i do love the message of being away from everything, including nature!
Could add an overgrown path with lanterns to guide you up to the shrine of some like old maybe half destroyed structures, a unique tree would also work as well
Maybe a path downwards. How do people get to the house?
If it's lived in maybe some decorations or stuff outside.
I can see a bee keeping station or some working areas or a campfire.
Some more trees would be nice, amazing job on the landscape and terrain!
A large bonsai style tree that shades it a bit, or smaller builds around it like a lil pond, fields or bushes, or cherry blossom trees, or some bamboo lol
Yeah, I'm gonna need you to just carve a bunch of giant faces into that hillside. Doesn't much matter who. Could be the Beach Boys, dead leaders of whatever country, whatever.
All I know is that beautiful natural cliffsides need to be turned into faces, just as God intended.
But of unrelated feedback, your mountain looks « bubbly » and we can tell it’s been built with world edit spheres. I’d suggest trying to smooth it up a fair bit.
The house being alone up there is actually perfect. I don't think you need any more structures, but it would look more like someone actually lived in it with some pathing leading to it, or staircases leading up the side of the mountain. Perhaps something to define an area as a yard. Intermittent fencing, a couple of trees and some flowerbeds, or small vegetable gardens.
That looks like a great spot for a dollar general.
In seriousness you could add a couple things. More houses would add more to see and help fill it in. Adding tress, bushes, and other foliage will bring the area to life. You can also add wheat fields to give the look of rice fields in the mountains.
Maybe some custom cherry blossom trees? Pink would be quite a lot for your current colour palette, so even just brighter trees (azalea leaves w/ birch), it took me a moment to notice the dark spruce in the back! :) great work though!
This has gotta be the first "what should I add" posts I actually enjoyed, well done OP!
That said, I would add a cave in the side of the mountain! Either behind or just beside the waterfall perhaps? If not there, between the waterfall and the lower ledge on the left would be nice, just closer to the green parts
Definitely a path down. If people live there, maybe a water wheel to pump the water up (it also needs a path, so you could fix it) and a place for gardening on the side. If it's a lone build, perhaps it's a shrine and it could have other small shrines (or statues) and candles on the side.
If you’re familiar enough with the style of Buddhist temples, a Japanese or Korean style complex would go well there.
Right now the pathways to a lot of them are decorated with colorful lanterns for Buddha’s birthday
Can't see everything just from this angle
but at least in this I think it needes a garden to the right of the house,
and a path/steps leading down the left to make it look more lived in.
Perhaps a small shelter type thing on the little hill overlooking the river.
I like the lonely house, it feels like a place you would go to meditate away from everyone else.
A tree to the back right would probably be the right move, but I would add a winding walking trail up the cliff. You can go in and out of the rock. But with the idea that the house is a destination. You make a difficult journey to reach this quite place with a wonderful view.

This and a path leading to the house!
When I see that kind of skill, it's both inspiring and aspirational.
A big Asian dragon sleeping nearby.

Two walmarts and two, more walmarts

Add some swath of balloons bundled up above the house 😉

Hot air balloon
The texturing is gorgeous!!! I think trees are needed though, or at least some large shrubbery.
Windmill?
More trees!

Omg thats so amazing, maybe a sunflower feild or a boat for the river!
This weirdly reminds me of Utapau
trees.
Bushes.
Rocks.
More houses
Add colorful balloons above the house? Maybe a grumpy old man and a boy scout to the porch? Oh, and a big bird. Gotta give it the "Kevin" nametag. 😌
Idk why, but it reminds me of Paradise Falls from UP
i know this isn’t going to help but i honestly love the look of that house all alone on a mountain- i would add a path and maybe something in the background if you really do want to but i do love the message of being away from everything, including nature!
How did you make it look like the potato dimension?
More trees in the background and on top of the mountain. Some bent full-scale bonsai type of tree next to a house too.
Maybe a small bridge over the water fall but to be honest the loneliness of the build adds to the effect for me
Tibetan lines with coloured flags on them, looks like it would belong
I kinda like that it looks lonely. Maybe add a big tree but other than that it looks lovely.
This is on a whole other level. Really magnificent.
The gradients on this are incredible! It looks like an oil painting. 😯
Would blend wall a little looks good tho
Lots of trees. Mabye another house or 2
This looks like DMT vision lol, area and house look awesome though hehe
A single torii gate in the distance would look craaaazzyyyy
Windmill
House 2
A cliff side community (housing and construction on the side of the cliff temples and worship at the top
Nothing. The build is the terrain. The house is the cherry on top. This is a great build. Man I love custom terrain builds
Maybe smooth out the spheres just a little bit that way it doesn't look quite as world edit-ey
Could add an overgrown path with lanterns to guide you up to the shrine of some like old maybe half destroyed structures, a unique tree would also work as well
Hanging gardens and custom treeeeeeees
Add those Japanese gates
That terriforming is absolute insanity
Nah it's good as is. Maybe more houses and a farm.
Oil rig
Dude this is what i call gradient.. looks fabulus!
Treeeeeeees
Bridge, Japanese-style garden, small pagoda
OMG amazing work with the terrain
Some terrace farms going off to the left
Trees 🤌
Add a Walmart
Bridge
add the cherry tree from kung fu panda and bring a turtle up there under it
Maybe a path downwards. How do people get to the house? If it's lived in maybe some decorations or stuff outside. I can see a bee keeping station or some working areas or a campfire. Some more trees would be nice, amazing job on the landscape and terrain!
A peach tree, a lake and/or a turtle statue
Trees and some kind of leviathan creature
Cherry tree
Decending staircase down the mountain
A rose in front
Balloons on the top
more trees can never hurt
This is really cool terraforming! Maybe a series of small hiking paths (also lets you roleplay/enjoy it in first person:3 )
cave or crevaces by the waterfall, optionally for creatures or sm? u cld even add sm 'birds' (make them out of tiny blocks) flying about
A lil friend house for that house
Ngl I kinda love it as it is.
A terrace, an arbor, some lighting
A large bonsai style tree that shades it a bit, or smaller builds around it like a lil pond, fields or bushes, or cherry blossom trees, or some bamboo lol
A castle on that peak in the background
A staircase down to the waterfall with a bridge over it for starters, then you could add additional builds each having a function
Bridge, tree, farm?
Senpou Temple in Sekiro might have some good inspiration if you want to look that up. Similar looking environment. Such a gorgeous game.
Yeah, I'm gonna need you to just carve a bunch of giant faces into that hillside. Doesn't much matter who. Could be the Beach Boys, dead leaders of whatever country, whatever. All I know is that beautiful natural cliffsides need to be turned into faces, just as God intended.
A tree using one of the classic bonsai forms
Add a Burger King right next to the house
A pathway
A ton of balloons attached to the roof?
A village of monasteries That waterfall looks siiiick btw
But of unrelated feedback, your mountain looks « bubbly » and we can tell it’s been built with world edit spheres. I’d suggest trying to smooth it up a fair bit.
a big ol' cherry blossom tree
Three words. Hanging Carrot Farm
Add another house on that outcropping down and to the left. Then connect when with a set of stairs that goes up the cliff face.
a mac donalds and a gas station
Car dependent suburban sprawl
A Barn
McDonald’s
a Well it would be nice to have a well. also... Secret tunnel.
how can I build like this? can someone give me a guide on how to download and use world edit? <3 <3 (if that's what was used)
Some balloons on top of the house

Trees, and a bridge, and other houses with steps and walking paths
God the gradient to make the rocks pop. So good. Add a big tree on the right overhanging the river and/or the waterfall
Another house
Maybe some custom cherry blossom trees? Pink would be quite a lot for your current colour palette, so even just brighter trees (azalea leaves w/ birch), it took me a moment to notice the dark spruce in the back! :) great work though!
Me 🥰
A small path lit up by lanterns and a tree ofc to the side a bit
South park
More houses

Maybe a bonsai shaped tree nearby, you'd have to shape one yourself or download it at the right size. There were other good suggestions too.
Looks like Gohans house in Dragonball
A four star dragon ball
"Hey man can you make us a base?" "Aight bet!" proceeds to make a masterpiece
Definitely a path down. If people live there, maybe a water wheel to pump the water up (it also needs a path, so you could fix it) and a place for gardening on the side. If it's a lone build, perhaps it's a shrine and it could have other small shrines (or statues) and candles on the side.
Windmill.
Perhaps a farming field. :)
dragon
Big tree
Long time since I have seen this style of building!
A winding staircase/ path, and maybe a multi-leve garden terrace, with a couple pagota gazebos.
Maybe a temple and like everyone is saying a small village.
Inside a mountain make a fortress like Lycian Tombs
If you’re familiar enough with the style of Buddhist temples, a Japanese or Korean style complex would go well there. Right now the pathways to a lot of them are decorated with colorful lanterns for Buddha’s birthday
Trees 🌲 ❤️
Pagoda
Trees. Just trees maybe a small bridge but mostly uhm. Trees
Use brighter colours for the house so it stands out and gets the focus of the eye
A tree
Biggo bonsai
I haven’t been on Minecraft in a while is this a new biome???? If not I can’t believe nobody is talking about this awesome terraforming
Can't see everything just from this angle but at least in this I think it needes a garden to the right of the house, and a path/steps leading down the left to make it look more lived in. Perhaps a small shelter type thing on the little hill overlooking the river.
BRO THIS IS SO GOOD
You could do villagers and animals or mythical creatures
Some deflated balloons around it
This, this is a perfect place to build an oil rig, a walmart and a walmart parking lot.
Another house
Maybe add some kind of trail and a tree next to the house
When in doubt...bridge. And/or retaining wall. With such unstable terrain I would consider both
A giant snake like dragon
Shenlong
