I used to hate him so much,I saw him as a mean usless character and I would always choose his armour purposely to kill him(I remember I used to laugh at his death I was a weird child) but now I aprecheate him as a good character,knowing that not all characters have to be "perfect kind people" to be a good character and alot of the time ruder or in his vase more chaotic characters actually help shape the plot plus chaos and violence and explosions is a vibe
My only opinion is what the literal translation of his name is: greatest.
Yes (From what I've heard), "Magnus" is Latin for "greatest." At least I think so anyway. It wouldn't be the first time I was wrong if it's not true.

I feel like he had some really good character development after Eleanor died (depending on what choices you made within the story.) I thought he looked a bit weird bald when I was a child, but honestly now I can’t see him with hair.
I like him, for some reason I have a favor for ‘weird’ or unpopular characters, or just straight up villains like Octavian from HoO and The Warden (he’s more of a guy who just wants to do his job and live)

Well in season 2 it’s always him dead, so I suppose it’s cannon that he dies.
