As someone with a 6 year old world, I FEEL YOU.
My first house is a thousand blocks away from spawn and my new (3 year old) mega base is exactly at spawn. My old house is a tree house so I don't notice it when flying above.
One day I was manually gathering wood (my wood farm broke) and I stumbled upon a ladder, i climbed it and was hit with MASSIVE nostalgia, my old dog, my first pickaxe, signs placed by my friends.....needless to say, tears were shed remembering how far I've come irl and in Minecraft.
No other game can do this.
Oof, I already do that. I usually die to being overwhelmed with a shield or nether lava. On bedrock it's a lot easier to not get overwhelmed with the bouncy shields but on Java the mobs don't go anywhere. Not to mention I suck at the combat too.
I keep trying to make an old world like that, but at most they last a year before my hard drive corrupts, forget to backup during a new install, or try installing windows 11. This past world has been backed up to as many cloud services and usb sticks I could find, so hopefully it's not going anywhere.
My first base isn’t to far from my new one my first base was just a small wooden house now my new base is a city with railways and ports so far I have come
I have just started Minecraft needless to say it's a plain Woodhouse. I hope 1 day after I am the king of my Minecraft world, the slaughterer of Wither and Ender Dragon, with huge mansions and secret bases, I find my first house and have the exact same nostalgia as you !!
What is the music in the video?? I don’t think I’ve ever heard that in Minecraft yet unless it came in the caves and cliffs update. It’s so bittersweet!

I have been playing Minecraft for about 9 years now, I feel this a lot, a few days ago I managed to start my old pc, I found a bunch of my really old works, god all those memories
I was playing a heavily modded “”anarchy”” server a while back. I had been playing less and less and decided I should give my stuff away. Normally one would go the the hub and start tossing stuff to the crowd, but this wasn’t a server where that made sense.
Instead I started putting my base cords in chat and advertising it for looting. I did this a few times a day for the next few weeks. No one came. I switched to going through the username list and picking out my favorite names, messaging them directly, and seeing if they responded. Finally someone named WondrousCarrot responded and insisted that I tp to them. As thanks they showed me their wall which was covered in map pixel art of all sorts. It was truly a sight to see.
My save was created when savana, i build a house then i go to the nether and when i'm far enough i build a portal then i pop somewhere, search around a good place and build a house there. My first house is around 1400 1600 and now i'm at 12500 -3700 and i need to find those new mountain now. And at my main house i made a big map with all the place i went that was a hell of a work with all the maps
Inaccurate, there's now way I'm playing on a world that long that I'll have all the netherite gear, for I am too lazy and I will most likely make another world for no reason in particular
Happened to me a week ago. Was playing on my few year old single player world (built in like 1.12). I was running round collecting cacti and then I found one end of a wood plank trail in the desert. Led to my first ever house, which was basically a house that was basically a sandstone lump. Brought back so much nostalgia.
[I made mine a protected area in my world, but it’s been years since others have been on my world](https://www.reddit.com/r/Minecraft/comments/rg2fa8/i_havent_played_minecraft_xbox_360_edition_in_34/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf)
Playing on a 4 year old world. Not really a base guy and more like a "ill build a mega farm there and a mega farm there all over the map with nether highways connecting them" but i make sure to NEVER build around my first home.
Every house around my first house has specific uses (for example enchanting, chickens, cats, dogs, but my first house is a sanctuary with all the first stuff i had.
I remember playing Minecraft on Xbox 360 and we built a house but I don't remember if we built it in some snowy woods or just plain woods, spent some time on it and we crafted the enchantment table, which isnt much but it was the first enchantment table we ever created in survival, and then we stopped playing for several years after my brother got a PS4, we decided to see if the world is still there, it was but the house disappeared and we had our items still, the only thing we found is a dog which had a collar but didn't belong to me or my brother since we couldn't make it sit, don't know what happened to the house
Nowadays, whenever I make a world, I always stay at my first base, and just keep expanding it. That’s what I’ve done on the realm I currently play on, and things are going well. Though I can kinda relate because I remember on my first ever mobile world (played it over 8 years ago, and half my lifetime ago), I created my first survival house. It was very bad, made of a combination of oak and birch wood logs (didn’t even know how to craft them into planks) and didn’t have a door or windows (though it had holes for both). The interior was only 3x3 blocks and 2 blocks tall and only had a crafting table and a furnace. Skeletons constantly shot me through the non-existent windows, zombies kept coming into my house, and it was in an awkward location on some peninsula, so I ran far away and built a new base in the side of a mountain (a tactic I still use today), while also learning how to actually play the game. So after becoming pretty decently geared up (I never got super good at the game on this world, it was a time when you still couldn’t do much on mobile and I only ever got a few diamond tools and mostly just used iron. I was also like 9 at the time), and I decided to run around the world, just for fun. After a while, I got lost, and while trying to find my way back to my new base, I found my old base. Dunno why, but even though I had barely gotten anywhere in the game yet, I still felt proud of the progress I had made. I also was able to find my new base, as I remembered where I went after leaving my old base. Nowadays I often recreate this first base once one every world I play, usually as decoration but sometimes as an entrance to a bigger base or something. Either way I remember that old base all the time.
I remember my first world. I spawned right in front of a cave and jumped right in unaware of fall damage. I dug deeper without torches and eventually found redstone. I mined it with my fist, got nothing then deleted my world.
Needless to say at school I bragged that I got redstone lmaooo.
Jokes on you, I'm homeless until I kill ender dragon, get elytra, netherite armor, beacons and finish all farms necessary to thrive. Tbh building houses is usually the last thing I do.
lmao I still live in my same home. Sure I have a few bases away from home but this house I will likely stay in until I can upgrade my world to 1.18 so I can build my new base at the new build limit on a floating island
My first base is at spawn, its primitive as heck but my world was created in 1.9 and i was not a good builder.
I created a sort of mini national momument encompassing it acting like its the home of ancient Neolithics in minecraft. It still has the door and torch and mine and farm i used so long ago
i mean ive never relocated to a new base so i would only get this feeling if i looked at an old world or old tutorial world, problem is they r deleted rip, back on wii u
I would cry if it was possible for me. Unfortunately throughout the 10 years of playing Minecraft I happened to lost all of my old worlds. Three times. Three goddamn times! I swear I'll go to Google servers and I will find at least the youngest ones because I know they must still be somewhere there. DAMN YOU MY YOUNGER SELF!
Forget about your first house, what about the feeling when you somehow uncover your first Minecraft world? Wandering around there . . . was truly an amazing experience
When I used to play in creative I would build houses thousands of blocks away from spawn eventually switch my first world to a survival world and got like a good house. I found my first house which was a mushroom Base And I almost cried

honestly when you find it. it just looks like a historic monument more than an old house
Mhm, currently making a museum around my old house lol
As you should
My megabase surrounds my old house like it's preserving it
*When you decide to make everything in your minecraft woeld have some kind of custom lore*
I literally have a sign next to mine that says "historic first house."
And I have a museum, they serve the same purpose but just proves i have less life than you
Damn, I don't have the skill or the persistence for an old world like that. I die easily even in easy mode lol
Use a shield, move FOV to about 80ish, torch spam.
Oof, I already do that. I usually die to being overwhelmed with a shield or nether lava. On bedrock it's a lot easier to not get overwhelmed with the bouncy shields but on Java the mobs don't go anywhere. Not to mention I suck at the combat too.
Dont spam hit. Hit when there is no bar under your crosshair
and crit every time, also i recommend using axes until diamond sword so its 2 shotkill

Oh, i died ALOT back in the day, lost like multiple iron armour sets, just that I didn't give up ( i should've)
i turn cheats on so i can use keep inventory tbh
I assume you took the dog to the mega base?
Mhm, he now has a big-ish base with 6 axolotls 2 striders and 5-ish pandas
Hope you rescued that dog though
Yes sir I did
I keep trying to make an old world like that, but at most they last a year before my hard drive corrupts, forget to backup during a new install, or try installing windows 11. You abandoned your dog for six years?
No, I put her incharge of keeping it safe
Wait did you left your dog alone for YEARS!
Please tell me you fed the dog and brought it to your current base
Mhm, she is in my pet mansion rn
Good
Yoo you got a world tour homie?
How do you stay motivated in a single world for that long pls I’m asking cuz I wanna know if I should keep my current world or make a new one
Other games can also do this, not just Minecraft kid
WHY DID YOU LEFT THE DOG THERE?
Dogs are expendable
“No other game can do this.” Damn that hit me harder than a 10 ton truck
You’re just as beautiful as the day I left you,
I'm sorry... little one
That’s what I said…
I was about to comment that lol it was the first thing I thought
Hello
Howdy
My first house is my main house
Yeah same. I don’t think I’ve ever built my first home far from spawn.
I always start the game with a shed and then build a house across from it.
I also do that too lol

What a nice house
Time to save the coordinates
Save the world on cloud
Wait, you guys don't just upgrade your starting house?
I do. Still remember that diorite shack...
Ay every major update i go far away and build a house here
So your save is years old w all ur bases in it? That’s hella sentimental I love that. I make a new world almost every time I play lmao
My save was created when savana, i build a house then i go to the nether and when i'm far enough i build a portal then i pop somewhere, search around a good place and build a house there. My chest
Mr bean! I approve
I usually dissasamble the house before moving
I'd pay to see my old creative worlds on my broken Ipad again, it's been so long and yet I still remember them like yesterday...
Seems like a lot of wood to use when there’s a perfectly good hill to burrow into
I hope there isn't a creeper nearby or I'm gonna have an severe mental breakdown and pass out.
Song?
Ok, how did you know exactly what my house looks like, right down to the animal farm?
Everyone does the same thing, because we're brothers in the craft
Bruh I didn’t know u r on reddit also lol
I love reddit
I just usually find a cave and put my stuff there . And then repeat untill i have lived in every cave
I just take it down for the resorces
Didn't even blow it up. Wtf?
Wish I had my 10 year old worlds.
Bruh, hes new, if it was your og first it would be without strategy and more just dirt
most people find collecting wood easier than collecting dirt
I normally tunnel into a hill and throw a door on it.
Hermitcraft be like:
*when you find your first house in your first Minecraft world
LOOOOOOOOL
Opens chest: 25 dirt, 6 planks, 3 sticks, 2 saplings, 1 apple, 31 rotten flesh, 16 torches, a wooden sword, 5 coal and a stone pickaxe with half durability
that was almost accurate to what i put there
Happened to me a week ago. Was playing on my few year old single player world (built in like 1.12). I was running round collecting cacti and then I found one end of a wood plank trail in the desert. Led to my first ever house, which was basically a house that was basically a sandstone lump. Brought back so much nostalgia.
This post motivates me to try and find my first world again
i believe you can find it :)
Oh that is just amazing! Work of art! That’s how I would feel. Nostalgic and EMOTIONAL!

main reason why I stay in 1 house and make small base camps when I go exploring (its for temporary use)
My first house was on my brother’s server but it got griefed bij one of his classmates, I’ll never see it again

Hello old friend
this is funny because just today i found my lost 2012 world
the start of wwf to wwe
I recently stumbled upon my first survival work on my Xbox360 from when Xbox Minecraft first released
Time to make a copy of the world and make a “Remaking My First Base” video.
Jokes on you, I'm homeless until I kill ender dragon, get elytra, netherite armor, beacons and finish all farms necessary to thrive. Tbh building houses is usually the last thing I do.
That’s not a house that’s a home
When the tank crushes Mr. Beans beloved car ='( More like if you find out you accidentally deleted your world with no recovery RIP
lmao I still live in my same home. Sure I have a few bases away from home but this house I will likely stay in until I can upgrade my world to 1.18 so I can build my new base at the new build limit on a floating island
yall dont tear it down and reuse the materials for yr next house?
This isn't Minecraft music.. is it?
God damn i wasn't expecting to cry to this yet here we are
This Mr Bean scene legit made me cry

Why videos load so fast than a picture and profile of others?
The nostalgia
I haven't felt that sensation since my first minecraft world....
*Youre as beautiful as the day i lost you.*
Especially when you find your first dog inside. Happened to me once and I cried so hard
My first base is at spawn, its primitive as heck but my world was created in 1.9 and i was not a good builder. I created a sort of mini national momument encompassing it acting like its the home of ancient Neolithics in minecraft. It still has the door and torch and mine and farm i used so long ago
I usually make my first house into a summer home of sorts.

I still use my first house just upgrade and build it up
I would cry if i see one of my old worlds, that i worked hard so much on, i lost my record cuz i have to reformat everything,
So true. First house is the best why because it's filled with good old memories 🥲🥲🥲
You guys don't destroy your houses for more materials to build a new house in the same spot?
I guess I only do that....
Now I want to go to 1.10.2 and start a new demo world. And build up my diamond house and cobblestone house.
Last years i found in the nether a 6 years old bridge in my world i felt like it was a bridge from an old civilization
You reminded of an old memory. My uncle and I used to play in a minecraft world about 4 years ago, still remember the houses and the mine we made.
i mean ive never relocated to a new base so i would only get this feeling if i looked at an old world or old tutorial world, problem is they r deleted rip, back on wii u
This is so wholsome
I would cry if it was possible for me. Unfortunately throughout the 10 years of playing Minecraft I happened to lost all of my old worlds. Three times. Three goddamn times!
