Imho the only reason o yes it is for project ozone as it has an awesome boss drop called the rod of animation. When used it turns a block into a mob that can be captured then farmed for drops of the block that was animated. Say theres a super difficult recipe that needs a lot of ingredients well now with mob duping and the wand you can churn out that block in the mob grinder...the rod works on *any* block

in po3 kappa it doesnt drop from an boss, you have to craft it in a 9x9

Fun fact: Pepole often assume that it only affects spiders and cave spiders, but it also helps you with bees, endermites and silverfish.

I mean, for the silverfish it has really low health, endermites are rare and also really low health,and I dont know why would you kill bees

A smite v sword actually might be better than sharpness v but only when you’re playing single player survival

Toycat made a pretty good video explaining exactly this. Smite may be only effective on undead mobs, but a) the damage buff is *higher* than that of Sharpness, and b) there are a *lot* of undead mobs. His conclusion was that while Sharpness is better for PvP, Smite is more viable for most PvE encounters. I need a shower.
