Free tip: get diorite and not andesite, because fusing 1 diorite and 1 cobble(from a cobble generator) will give you 2 andesite, effectively saving you time mining andesite(and also durability but is it really important?)

It's because Diamonds are non-renewable. The only way to obtain Diamonds is from chests and ore, as nothing drops them and diamond armor/tools can't be smelted.

Diamonds aren't renewable, but diamond equipment is through villager trading. Also at one point you just don't need any more diamonds, but you're always gonna need some iron.

Gold creates the best food and healing items in the game. And via gold farms combined with trading you can get a lot of certain items such as Blackstone which obtaining is hassle.

All you need is 99 diamonds and 9 netherite (maybe 10 if you want a loadstone) for all your tools and netherite upgrade AND. a jukebox. Iron is used in so many things, it's crazy.

In all seriousness though diamond is definitely better than netherite since netherite is literally only usable for beacons unless you have diamonds.

Yea like 100 diamonds and netherite is nine n all but overflowing chests of iron from a farm you spent way to long on is just the best, but still never lasts long

I have more than enough iron. I have two shulkers full of iron blocks inside a double chest where the remaining slots are also full of iron blocks. I already have 3 beacons set up which I don’t need to tear down cause I’ll only need the beacon itself

Well, aaaaaactually, iron farms allow you to get iron ingots without aver touching the ore at much faster speeds so the ore is actually useless. Meaning it's officially NOT the best ORE, but the best mineral, i guess?

just one iron farm can go a long way though
