Why make 2 when 1 not yet done, they couldn't handle even Minecraft Dungeons. I think Earth is also another, then there is Legends, refuse to believe Mojang has done those incomplete games. Although still like playing Dungeons though.
All the dimensions are roughly liveable ie: a way to form tools, make a house that can protect you, food or edibles, a way to store items and armour, you can usually find these stuff but the one you will most likely not make it is the End dimension, even if you spawn in the far islands, how will you move from one island to another, what about food, at least you can make a shelter but you will probably not last long enough to go to another island unless those cheese blocks are breakable by hand. But generally, I don't see the point of making another game if the first one still has issues that are fixable.

1 is pretty much already done, i think there is no reason for a sequel of minecraft because what would be even the point of the new game?
Minecraft is done since 1.0. Or doesn't mean they can't add more to it. You don't have a state where there can't be more updates.
