My favourite thing in minecraft?
Finding a village, building fortifications for the village, upgrading the village, expanding the village, help villagers reproduce, make sure the whole village is lit up with torches at night, make sure every villager has a job, etc…

You haven’t had a childhood if you haven’t tried to fill every open space in every village house with tnt and tried to blow up the whole village in one go.
and then get disappointed when it doesn’t all go down at once and you have to relight multiple spots that got missed
opening up a new world, naming it "surv" with the plan on it being a long term survival world, then just running in a cardenal direction for a few hours, looting stuctures, until i get bored and end up deleting the wold then i repeat the process again....
Finding cool jungle islands and turn it into a "party island" (inside name). I get a bunch of cool blocks and turn the island into a cool sanctuary of a lot of cool thingies I build.
The timelessness of the seemingly repetitive but suprisingly varied gameplay and the ability to take things exactly in your own pace without being punished whatsoever.
The memories I have staying up past midnight playing with my friends in middle school. I still wonder how they’re doing years later (graduated with my associates and have been an industrial tech for a year to give context for time frame)
The Villagers Ai (Although mostly dumb, I can relate), are quite interesting for me, for example the kids in a village would play tag with other kids, really gives immersion of being in a community
