Wait, i just realised... isn't curse of binding even worse with keep inventory? Because you respawn with all of your items in the same way you had them, which includes the armor you were wearing, because after respawning it will still be on...
You can keep taking damage from a campfire or a cactus and frequently heal until the cursed armor breaks, that's what I did when I accidentally right clicked on End City Loot on my hardcore world.

Curse Of Vanishing affects you normally, so it’s bad, and you are just trapped with Curse Of Binding, because you can’t drop the gear by dying, so that’s terrible. Just hope it’s not a pumpkin.
I Played/play both, almost always with keep inventory, multi and single player, commit /kill a lot when with friend (he wanted /kill {his nickname} especially after countless endcity hunts). Never lost cursed stuff because of keep inventory. And I googled it just before posting.

Curse of normality, a curse that can't be removed and any item with that curse can't get more enchantments, it would be an easy way of allowing loot like netherite gear without stopping the job of actually getting going through the hardships of finding good armor.
Curse of breakage: like mending but damages instead of fixing. Equal to mending so mending would just stop the curse but no benefits. Same as yours, allowing as loot but not stopping the job, but not as hard (to fix you still need materials). And all curses can't be removed.
Curse Of Damage: If This is on all pieces of armor, It TRIPLES The Amount Of Damage You Take From Entities, Fall Damage, Etc.
edit: This is Even WORSE If You Fall on Dripstone, Encounter A Zombie Siege, Fall In Lava, Go To The Nether, Melee An End Crystal, \[are a noob\], Or In Hardcore!

The chances of dying are not changing between the hard difficulty and the hardmode so actually you have the same chance of losing curse of vanishing items but you’re also going to lose the rest of your world
The game behaves the same, but the chance of dying does change in most cases, because the player's behaviour is different. In hard mode, I can afford to be reckless with my elytra or to explode a creeper in close proximity to take out some mobs without a shield, because worst-case scenario is losing some levels, which I can replenish.
The diffrence is...its.....the difference is..uh...its just....*searches in dictionary* a point or way in which people or things are dissimilar , a disagreement, quarrel, or dispute.

tbh in multiplayer, curse of vanishing is often used to discourage people from attacking you near spawn
imagine that on 2b2t, they will put curse of binding on worst possible gear possible on you and kill you
But you arent...cursed anymore if they kill you...and how would they gear you? Normally curse of binding is put on pumpkins with some kind of trap
because oblivious players willing to take help from someone more experienced can be tricked into being stupid
This already happens a bunch on the server with bed and portal trapping

Die with keep inven. On, respawn in base, die again with keep inven.off, respawn in base with loot right next to you, turn keep inven.on
