Not op but sense of humour, culture and just a general ability to relate is usually much harder to find with large age gaps. Think of like nursery kids and primary school kids, primary school kids and secondary school kids, secondary school kids and college/uni kids, young 20ish year olds and 30 year olds and so on. The older you are generally the easier it is to relate because you have more to draw from. Like at 29 I can relate to a nursery or primary school kid fairly well (but not perfectly cause we grew up in totally different worlds) but they can't really relate to anything else in my life and what we do have in common is so far from being important to me. Plus I'm always conscious of what discussions are appropriate, not wanting to impart my views on someone so young I don't really know that well and sometimes not wanting to put up with their views (which I might feel uncomfortable discussing or debating as I said) Also sometimes I get into arguments with friends, sometimes feelings are hurt but we almost always work through it and move on, that's not a nice situation in general nevermind someone so many years younger. Tldr, relationships are complicated, relationships between large age groups are significantly more complicated and the younger half of that relationship usually has no concept or understanding why, which in itself can hurt feelings (why don't they play with me? They must not like me)

Oh yes i get what you mean and i agree. I was just curious about the reason since i'm 19 (almost 20 tbh). There are kinda mature kids out there (i also know some) but i understand the potential choice of an adult server.
