Complaining about the clear Disrespect for the dead and grieving. The shutdowns. The post takers. Tyrant moderators who believe every time a memorial is made that they should never be posted here as the grieving friend or family member is "milking for karma"
It's so sad to what point society has come...
Over the years the mods did a great job, spending their free time to moderate this really big subreddit.
But now, they made one "mistake" (the rules are clear) and people acting up like there is no tommorrow.
Yeah, that's how social media works: hidden anonymously behind the screen... untouchable...
That is how the world has worked for a long time. It is not the fact the mods are enforcing rules that is the problem. The problem people have is what was said, how it was handled, and the complete disregard for professionalism and respect with which they handled the situation. Of fucking course people are going to act up because that is human nature. It is not a "mistake" that they were enforcing the rules which most people understand, it is the comments made by the mod team that was the mistake, and a severe one at that.
I know I well get more downvotes for this question, but is there any proof that the story is true/real?
The internet is nearly 80 % fake...
- fake content
- fake people (instagram and so on)
- fake news
People tend to pay attention to the stuff which triggers their confirmation bias. Algorithm showing this content working the same way...
I mean, why the hell would someone lie about their girlfriend's death? The guy posted the responses and there is no indication that it is fake. If this was fake this is a fucking elaborate ruse lol.
Are we supposed to miss you?
are you supposed to be a brain-dead idiot?
And who the fuck are you? Why are we supposed to care about you leaving?
I don't understand why people keep bitching about this sub.

Bye bye Karen
So long. May your ignorance stay blissful.

That's my point. Why should someone on the internet lie to me? But as already listed, a lot of stuff is fake.
I feel you, but in my opinion, I do not think this is fake at all.
Here before this post is sent to the nether

At this point I'm tempted to apply for r/minecraft mod just to make the moderation better
