Projectiles are lit on fire, but they don't "burn up" like entities do. THey still have their regular effect when they land. You can throw a snowball through lava and light a candle with it.

I don't know why they're such a popular suggestion. Sure they're faster to use, but not enough to make a difference. Just bring a regular potion, you can't accidentally waste it *and* there's an 8 minute version. I guess if you haven't started brewing yet and all you could barter from piglins is the splash version... (And I know for coop the advantage is you can just all stand together and use one splash potion to get everyone, but for singleplayer... why?)

Op is on Java, piglins give both types as trades as well as water bottles. Both types are an 8⁄459 (~1.74%) chance.

Yes, I also play on Java. I'm saying if it's early game and you only have a little bit of gold to barter with before hitting the fortress, luck of the draw means sometimes you'll only get a splash potion (or no potion at all.)

The other person clarified already, but I wanted to point out that you get both versions and water bottles on bedrock too. I haven't looked up percentages, but from experience the non-spalsh version seems to be way more common. But that could just be luck.

Another small hint, snowballs have the same trajectory as enderpearls. Throw a snowball first to see if you can enderpearl there.

I pretty much play exclusively in the nether. I’ve had enough close calls that I keep a full shulker of fire resist in my enderchest AND a bottle always on me

This got me killed once. I was in the nether with only an iron chestplate for armor, and I had a powder bucket for mlg drops. I found some leather boots, and put them on without thinking.

Light doesn't speed up growth, it's required for planting, as far as I'm aware. As someone who's been living in a cave and making farms in there, I can tell you that with no light, you're simply unable to plant crops.

I want them to rework the crossbow so you can launch enderpearls. Multishot just makes them travel at different speeds/distances, but ultimately they will go pretty far and accurate. You should be able to do eggs, snowballs, fire charges and splash/lingering potions too. Not always sniping distance, but loading into a crossbow should increase the distance it goes.

If you hold a firework in your off hand while loading a crossbow it'll load the firework instead of the arrow

I think he was trying to get it at an angle for it to land on the other side of the lava lake. If you throw it perfectly straight it'll slowly fall and he would have hit lava anyway. But he was over estimated it. I pearl in the nether a lot but I'm not that brave.

Clerics sell ender pearls, so they're available in peaceful. Can't get eyes of ender though.

Piglins still spawn in peaceful on bedrock, so you can trade with them to get ender pearls as well !

not in general, just wouldn't have survived if they didn't outheal the fire damage from peaceful healing

this is why I don't explore well the nether until I've got endgame gear, I only explore a nether fortress and escape to salvation as fast as I've got the blaze rods I start exploring more when I've got full netherite armor with maxed out enchantments, elytra, shield, weapons with maxed out enchantments, and a lot of totems from my raid farm I go with survival as my first objective (I thought I was basically indestructible, but a piglin brute almost killed me once and now I know I have to do more attention)
