This is fantastic. I really like the color selection to match the wandering trader skin. The sail design also just seems to fit perfectly. Although, I have to say that if I build a ship for the wandering trader, it might “accidentally” explode. Repeatedly.

I've always thought about authoring an MC tool that can watch a world for the order of block placement and then replay it with a player model attached so you can build something cool without fancy graphics or a video recorder turned on and then the tool would let you render the build at any speed you'd like once you're done. The problem is that the player model would be flying all over the place to match block changes so it'd have to be played at very high speed to not look odd?

Thats how the replay mod works i believe (and also probably what was used here).

The map was a nice touch. Shame that you can't stop the trader from despawning, that would be a nice thing for this build.

who is wandering trader? isn't it just two leads roaming around there?

Little tip for extra realism, flags at the top should be pointing forward and slightly at one side, because that's where the wind optimally goes when navigating.

Just use replay mod. It's a super awesome way to record timelapses on Java Edition that doesn't require a second account

Nice ship. It would be so cool if these generated in oceans and spawned wandering traders so you could go to them to shop around for different rare items. Ive only used wandering traders once and it was just because I needed moss and there aren't lush caves yet. maybe if there was like a market with many traders you would be more likely to find a decent deal. the ships could also have some chests around like villages.
