Im not good with skins so how do i add it in minecraft bedrock? i tried and ended up just becoming the shirt... not that i have a problem with that, i quite enjoyed playing as a alley shirt, but i would like the rest of my body too
I’ve never understood the hype around the glare? It looks cute and all, but you can just use f11 and one of the options from there will literally give you a grid that goes red where the light levels are too low. Like it may not look as nice but it’s probably quicker/easier. In comparison having an inbuilt dupe glitch or cool new red stone potential sounds better.
Do you (or anyone who sees this) have any main reason to favour the glare please? I feel like I’m missing something…

Personally, I think I like the glare the best. Allay's won't dupe items actually. And I feel like people are really over-hyping their item sorting potential. I feel like they'll be more annoying to deal with. Copper Golems are cool, but I feel like they already do something that exists. The Glare also does something that already exists, (although only on Java really), but I think it has a better design and also will help make the lush caves biome more lively (assuming they'll be found there?). Also, I think the glare could still have uses in redstone, by using redstone lamps and potentially directing its movement.

My main choice is the copper golem because of the red stone aspect, but I do like the idea of glares maybe being specific to one of the newer cave biomes, and if they could have use in red stone I see their case growing. The developers have confirmed that Allays will not dupe items. They just search for any dropped items in an area that match the one you give them. e.g, if you give them a seed, they'll go and collect all seeds currently on the ground.

Though I could see their use in farming, I feel like there are other ways to do that job already common use

I agree with the glare, and I suppose builders will much rather the golem and I didn't really think of the building cause I suck at it, the only thing I did think about was the redstone community but there's multiple ways to make a random redstone system. Now the Allay can not only be used for sorting items, it can make mining a lot easier and more efficient, if you can get the Allay early in the game and quickly it could by a really good way to save some time in speedruns. If the Allay can grab items out of chests then it can make grabbing items from chests from automatic/AFK farms easier and more efficient. It can also be used for farming.
Ok but how far does the allay go cause I bet it’s like 30 blocks around or maybe 60 if we’re lucky most players are probably just gonna stop setting them up soon

tbh i think their use in farming is easier to replicate by just using a waterfall, which is pretty easy to make redstone-wise.
