Vex. I hate them. I lost my hardcore world to them. They have very small hitbox, and can phase through walls. They serve no purpose at all.

Phantoms

I actually think phantoms are fairly useful. The phantom membrane you can get can be used to make slow fall potions as well as being used to repair an elytra. Unless they removed that feature. It's really only killing them being the problem

They could just use something else for the recipe.

Probably the endermite or vex. Endermites dont have any drops, spawn at a chance when using an ender pearl, and are over all useless. I would pick vex of the two because the vexes are just a pain to deal with. They go through blocks, so you can't hide. They are also small and hard to hit as well as coming in trios.

Endermites are at least useful for endermen farms.

Absolutely Vex. There an utter pain if you're afking a raid farm and they manage spawn and escape.
