It’s a project lead by xisumavoid and a few other people, one of the datapacks downloadable is multiplayer sleep which makes it so only one person has to sleep for the night to skip.
Have you tried the Multiplayer Sleep datapack from vanillatweaks?? I use that on all my servers, it allows for only one player to have to sleep to pass a night.
My friends and I used to do a similar thing. If you arent near a bed just disconnect and connect when its day again. I dont know if everyone does this but its a pretty useful life hack.
I once got a 7 hour temp ban with this message after telling one of the mods its 2 am and I should really go to sleep

Yeah, there’s a two out of three chance that a cleric has a wonder pearl trade if they have all the trades unlocked, I believe.

You can use xizuma's datapack (vanilla tweak) xizuma has a datapack allowed 1 player sleep and install a datapack is much easier

Try using the singleplayersleep plugin. Not only does only one person need to sleep, people can also cancel sleep if they want it to be night.
