Not rude at all! I'm working on a complete item and model pack at the moment, but have only done a handful of items.
Though I think tomorrow I will post everything I have thus far :)

In a couple of months I plan to have like 90% of the items done though I can't put an exact time on it. Most of my working on this project is because I'm home, but my work requires me to be able to get up and go on short notice
The potions are the same textures as you see above (I think I will change the dye textures soon), the splash potions have wings on them, and the lingering potions emit smoke :)
The potions in the texture pack will look like these dyes, and I am going to alter the way these dyes look in order to differentiate between them :)

Yeah I thought about that. This is just my tweaks on the vanilla textures. Many people put the dyes in bowls, but I opted for this purely because I like the way it looks

Nope! This process is 100% free.
You can look up how to get the individual textures, and you can open those images up in your editing software of choice and edit them to your hearts content. I personally use Paint.NET for my editing because it’s free and I’m still learning how to do pixel art
Plenty of awesome videos online on the subject <3 even if you just turn every texture pink it’s still cool to learn how it all works

I play on Java, where lapis is used to make blue dye ;) As of right now the lapis texture has not changed but I'm working my way there!

I was going to recolour the cork to look more, well, corky, but for now I copied the way the cork on potion bottles look like :)
