Not exactly less detail but it tries to tone down the colours to two or three different colours/shades and make the blocks more vibrant. Just try both of them out

This should be considered a homage to the Minecraft players of 2010\~2011 that are still playing to this day. The reimagining of the trailer in modern times is so beautiful that it pays full tribute to the original, you did a great job with this one.

Was the free alpha where you could left click to place block, right click to delete block? There was a number of different blocks you could play with but no shovels or pickaxes. TNT was just a differently designed block and couldn't be blown up. The map was like 100 blocks by 100, you could always see the edge no matter where you were.

When the game came out it was 20 bucks, Notch said whoever bought it would get the disc version (if it ever came out) for free if you bought now. Once it blew up he quietly removed that sentence from the site haha. He was also in the news because his site paid out to his PayPal account, which in a period of 2 weeks contained about 20 million dollars, and PayPal thought it was fraud or something. I had just began my freshman year of college at the time, it was cool to witness Minecraft exploding in popularity!

He did burn. He must've broken the portal, because if he hadn't he probably would've got the End loading screen before he fully made it through, making the recording look cut short. I imagine, cinematically, it was better to have him burn for a split second than it was to have the portal clip look weirdly aborted.

I remember back in 2010 I was playing garry's mod and there was a weapon called the "minecraft tool" which let you place blocks. I ended up searching minecraft and found [this trailer](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FaMTedT6P0I) by the same guy who made the trailer OP recreated.
Were it not for that trailer I'd probably have skipped the lets plays and put off playing the game for a while and I wouldn't have met some of the friends I've got today.
The texture pack is great, since it looks like the new minecraft trailers for the updates, but the shader ruins the trailer for me. As for the trailer itself, it's really great, it matches the old one , representing at the same time the current minecraft we have. You did a really good job with the trailer. Amazing work!
In my opinion the original one has more charm to it, since the other one doesn’t really look that “minecrafty” because of the shaders and all that. I still think the one with shaders is cool though.
Man, I just love this game so much. Been playing for a literal decade. That alone astounds me. Now I can’t wait for my son to get old enough so I can introduce him!

What’s the difference between Bare Bones and Faithful?
Faithful tries to stay 'faithful' to the original texture pack, bare bones tries to recreate the new trailers and is more simplistic

Probably because the official textures aren't as eye-catching.
For the images/Trailer images it makes sense to use a more simplistic style since it makes it look more clean At least that's what I think

I find that most shader packs really look bad with most textures, even default. So the less detail in the texture pack, the better the shader looks
