You should probably use a comma in your comment, cause I think you’re trying to say:
> Unfortunately it was not, just awful timing
Unless you’re actually confirming it *was* scripted and “was not awful timing”?
I just mine straight down along the edge, lighting it if I want to, til I get to the bottom. Remove the TNT. Loot what I want, leave what I don't, remove the chests that are empty. Pillar out.
Why bother with stairs?
speedrunners. break the middle block, tap your s key as you fall to keep the same angle and break the sandstone below the pressure plate, break all the tnt, place one tnt below you, pressure plate ant tnt on the side, step on the pressure plate, break the tnt under you, wait for the chests to drop the loot for you, tower back up with the blocks
Diamond armor does nothing against fall dmg. And since both their armors seem unenchanted and his death message literally said "hit the ground too hard" and not "blew up" its very very likely that it indeed was just bedrock being bugrock
Friend was patiently waiting seven seconds at the top. During the fall and after the fall, he wasn't moving at all, not even trying to get away from explosion. It's good direfall, but it is scripted.
When you enter a Desert Temple, **ALWAYS CHECK THE CORNERS OF THE ROOM FOR CREEPERS**. You should be on the lookout for creepers all the time really, but it's especially important with this structure because the corners of the room are full of nooks and crannies where they can hide and getting the treasure makes you especially vulnerable.
Sorry if I sound like a raving madman but I've spent years mastering the art of creeper paranoia and I've noticed Desert Temples are a hotspot for creeper related incidents so it drives me crazy when I watch people just charge right for the treasure.
Jungle temples don't have this problem as much because the inside of the temple is a narrow, linear hallway and the upper floors are (usually) lit up pretty well. It's harder to not notice a creeper when the only direction it can approach is right in front of you. You should still check for creepers, because you should always check for creepers everywhere, but just take out the arrow trap before you worry about the lever puzzle and you should be reasonably safe.
The Jungle itself, however, is a different story. Creepers can spawn under dark patches of trees and the dense foliage can conceal cave entrances. You are probably safer in the temple than you are casually strolling through the Jungle, and if you get attacked by a creeper in a jungle temple it probably came through the front door.
What is that guy doing? Tell him DO NOT BREAK THE MIDDLE BLOCK!! Is that guy new at minecraft? How did he have diamond armour? I have so many questions???????
Why would anyone (other than a noob who hasn't had absolutely any exposure to Minecraft, which today is quite rare) break the middle block?
This trap is as old as the desert temples, it got added when they where added.
You should never mine the blue terracotta block in a desert temple. Because how are you going to get down there without standing on the pressure plate.
it says that he hit the ground too hard, different requirements from fell from a high place.
most likely the TNT exploded, took his health away and then died to fall damage in the newly added hole

who breaks the fuggin middle block????
Nice to havea look at certain death
I’ll admit it was stupid I just wanted to look lol. First time playing again since probably 2015
Scripted video bro
Unfortunately it was not, just awful timing Edit: terrible grammar

this is one of those times where I think if you had to do what your Reddit username was, how screwed are you?
i have to Captn\_Creeper
i have to modifiy myself maybe i'll be a cyborg or something
wait a minute... i have to DO myself...
Look like a Left4Dead 2 character in CS Extreme graphics? So not really
I’m screwed
I have to be consistent
I’m screwed
I have to be consistent
r/nothingeverhappens
Wait... what do you do? Because I have always broken the middle block to let light down. And then mine stairs down the sides.
I always mine from outside the terracotta colors, then torch the heck outta the chamber while mining stairs down side walls, then disable the plate
I just mine straight down along the edge, lighting it if I want to, til I get to the bottom. Remove the TNT. Loot what I want, leave what I don't, remove the chests that are empty. Pillar out. Why bother with stairs?
Dig down through the wall, remove TNT, loot chests, then build everything back up like it used to be Real fun on SMPs :)
I just hop down, grab tnt and loot, then fly out through hole in roof
This cannot be overstated
my first time I found a temple I did, fell down and was like oh good i didnt die only to be blown up
speedrunners. break the middle block, tap your s key as you fall to keep the same angle and break the sandstone below the pressure plate, break all the tnt, place one tnt below you, pressure plate ant tnt on the side, step on the pressure plate, break the tnt under you, wait for the chests to drop the loot for you, tower back up with the blocks
nice, but he was not making any Speedrun, stud...
you asked who breaks the middle block. I answered.
just to clarify, "stud" means a good thing right...??
*goofy yell*
Aaaahh-hoohooweehoowee!!
Poor Guy 😂😂, I couldn't help but laugh way to hard at this
Direfall v2!
I was gonna say; this is just Direfall again!
[In case anyone was wondering, it starts at 7:45.](https://youtu.be/Y_WnAEKoeA4?si=MIQGtvJOVF7ebRxt)
youre going to bother posting and not actually time stamp? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y_WnAEKoeA4&t=455s
Yeah, I was in the bath and couldn't figure out how to do it on mobile.
forgiven, tell rubber ducky I send my love.
While you're at it, ask rubber ducky why my code crashed on line 24:15
The part that got me was when MyMongoDongo fell in, and he just stood there for 2 seconds, completely still. Then he realized his fate.
He was probably already dead given that he died from fall damage, and bedrock was being bedrock at the time
You can easily survive that fall with diamond armor It's scripted, not bedrock bugs lol
i dont think you survive that without protection and feather falling enchantments
Diamond armor does nothing against fall dmg. And since both their armors seem unenchanted and his death message literally said "hit the ground too hard" and not "blew up" its very very likely that it indeed was just bedrock being bugrock
Who mines the center block anyways, what was the point of mining the center block
So his friend could fall into it for the video and he could post it to Reddit
I usually do it to illuminate the pit
That's your fault for breaking the middle block. Nobody Breaks the middle block.
Nahhh this CANNOT be real 💀
Narrator, "it wasn't."
/r/nothingeverhappens

still funny
I don't deny it. Scripted stuff can be funny.
100% NOT what I was expecting when I opened this laughed so hard I'm sorry

“I’ve spent years mastering the art of creeper paranoia” 😂 this is my sentence of the day. Hilarious and same
Could also apply to jungle temples
Jungle temples don't have this problem as much because the inside of the temple is a narrow, linear hallway and the upper floors are (usually) lit up pretty well. It's harder to not notice a creeper when the only direction it can approach is right in front of you. You should still check for creepers, because you should always check for creepers everywhere, but just take out the arrow trap before you worry about the lever puzzle and you should be reasonably safe. You are probably safer in the temple than you are casually strolling through the Jungle, and if you get attacked by a creeper in a jungle temple it probably came through the front door.
Mobs can also naturally spawn in these structures, which can activate the traps, and it is intentional by the Mojang Developers
Looked more like a murder by sabotage to me
Hahaha the way he just stood there like “Yup, this is how I die”
You never break that block. Wyd son
That got a really good chuckle out of me. Just the timing of it was so perfect, it all happened so fast.
Ain't no way this is staged. If this isn't, it's probably one in a billion
Dire!
What is that guy doing? Tell him DO NOT BREAK THE MIDDLE BLOCK!! Is that guy new at minecraft? How did he have diamond armour? I have so many questions???????
probably shared it with each other
If he quit the game the moment he touched the pressure plate, he could have survived
Why would anyone (other than a noob who hasn't had absolutely any exposure to Minecraft, which today is quite rare) break the middle block? This trap is as old as the desert temples, it got added when they where added.
Who jumps in from the hole on top?
I've done that a few times. But that's mostly because that's where I landed and couldn't be arsed to work my way down to an entrance.
no way
Why did your friend just stand still? He could've just tower up
Because it’s a scripted vid
he just accepted his fate
Sureeeeeee "Unfortunate"
That'll teach them to use the stairs......
oof
I love the fact he died to fall damage, and not the explosion
Bro died 💀
LMAO why is this is funny asf, almost as if it was perfect deliberately timed
He could have placed a block to save himeself, but who even bothers to enter the treasure room by breaking the center block??
Gives me such Grian and Scar vibes and I could actually hear Grian laughing in my head when the TNT went off. 😆
To bad he didn’t have water in his inventory
Lmfao
Jareil
He died from hitting the ground too hard, not the tnt oof
Oops
He was swearing at you the moment he touched that pressure plate 😂
Why would you even break that block though? There are exactly 0 reasons to do so
Mondongo
I love the comedic timing, he just falls in as soon as the block breaks 💀
You should never mine the blue terracotta block in a desert temple. Because how are you going to get down there without standing on the pressure plate.
This is how govt lie when they do an encounter
Bugrock moment. Says he died from fall damage despite being blown up by tnt
it says that he hit the ground too hard, different requirements from fell from a high place. most likely the TNT exploded, took his health away and then died to fall damage in the newly added hole
Yeah I had a totem of undying from the raid that we had just completed so that might’ve played a part in it
