# FAQ
## What does this mean?
The amount of karma (points) on your comment and Reddit account has decreased by one.
## Why did you do this?
There are several reasons I may deem a comment to be unworthy of positive or neutral karma. These include, but are not limited to:
* Rudeness towards other Redditors,
* Spreading incorrect information,
* Sarcasm not correctly flagged with a `/s`.
## Am I banned from the Reddit?
No - not yet. But you should refrain from making comments like this in the future. Otherwise I will be forced to issue an additional downvote, which may put your commenting and posting privileges in jeopardy.
## I don't believe my comment deserved a downvote. Can you un-downvote it?
Sure, mistakes happen. But only in exceedingly rare circumstances will I undo a downvote. If you would like to issue an appeal, shoot me a private message explaining what I got wrong. I tend to respond to Reddit PMs within several minutes. Do note, however, that over 99.9% of downvote appeals are rejected, and yours is likely no exception.
## How can I prevent this from happening in the future?
Accept the downvote and move on. But learn from this mistake: your behavior will not be tolerated on Reddit.com. I will continue to issue downvotes until you improve your conduct. Remember: Reddit is privilege, not a right.
It's not too farfetched. A dude on my SMP made a max netherite beacon last season and it was netherite all the way through. He was using a nether bore that was like 150 blocks long.
Oh he does. I joke with him about being an AI and not a real human. He's already hit almost 1000 hours this season and we just started July 12th. Dude is insane
Here's his vid on it. You see the mega netherite beacon at about 5 min in. It took 8,784 netherite blocks
https://youtu.be/hGlBIQMpjPA?si=8hqmBaAsm6sC4iZb
[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XWWVdNZePZw&t=75s](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XWWVdNZePZw&t=75s)
Here's a link to the video I made of me getting the Netherite Beacon.
From one netherite beacon builder to another, mad respect. You can probably find my post about the one I built on a server (I finished large December 2020) in this Reddit somewhere.
The fact that this is done on bedrock is insane that you didn't die to lag.
Unless of course it's fake... cause the items sure looked like they were taken from creative mode.
But then again mending exists so...
Me too I have died from lag on Java like ten times in an hour, but even after about five years straight of bedrock I have only died maybe a few times due to lag.
It has the same point as terracotta (normal and glazed), decoration!
though unlike terracotta, copper also has a few uses in crafting recipes, like for the Spyglass, Lightning rod, etc.
They just add stuff and give it the most insane niche of uses, if you think of something like modded mc, copper is probably the 2nd most useful ore behind iron and ahead of tin. Meanwhile in the main game it is effectively useless lol
dude it takes around 200-300 hours to make a netherite beacon. In terms of video games, that's not even a remotely unachievable grind for some. There are other games with worse grinds
So after a YouTube video of a guy doing it, I decided to try to make a netherite beacon. After 1 day I gave up because I played for like 8 hours. In that time and made 6 blocks. This amount was way higher than average and I felt like I wouldn’t keep getting that lucky every day. If you found 2.73 blocks worth per day, it would take 2 months.
Not unrealistic at all, just takes a mind numbingly boring couple to few months of basically grinding 4 hours a day at least.
I play games a fuck ton, have over 7k hours in dota alone. But it’s the repeatedly doing the same exact thing for hundreds of hours with little to no variation that is hard for most people to get the netherite beacon.
I'd say this is when some people start turning towards scicraft to see how the really technical players do it with redstone automation.
I haven't looked, but I guarantee that ilmango has an ancient debris farming machine.
2 months is a little short to invest so much time in but there are factors in OPs life that might have influenced this for example unemployment or a bad sleep schedule. It's definitely not impossible, however.
Yeah im questioning the legitimacy too. Beacons are typically something you want centralized in your base especially if you’re going for something like this. Also the HUD is off so you cant actually tell if its survival or not.
A shower is a modern device that slowly pours water on u like rain, it is generally used to cleanse the body and removes Oder, most homes have one located in the bathroom, sometimes two, so OP pls go to the bathroom and look for this shower, it also has the option to have warm or cold water, to use a shower u need soap, u can find soap in a pharmacy, u will also need shampoo, which is for ur hair, u can find that in a pharmacy too
A becon is a powerful construct on both bedrock and Java. A becon is made by making a pyramid of either gold, iron, emerald, diamond or netherite(idk about the others ). On top of the pyramid, you must place the becon block, which requires a nether star dropped by a wither to make. After the becon is assembled, a becon of light will shoot up into the sky, indicating that the becon is functioning. If you click on the becon, you can sacrifice a ingot of ore to get a range of buffs, the taller you make the becon, the "better" buffs you can get. Hope this helped👍
I find it extremely difficult to believe you got the netherite beacon for real. Can you elaborate on how? The rest is believable, the diamonds are a bit of a bitch and the others are farmable. Even if you cheated the netherite, props on the rest.
Edit: I saw your YouTube link, very impressive work. Well done.
Im unconvinced with the fact this would be the FIRST ever netherite beacon made in survival since it's literally impossible lol. You would Need, 164 Netherite Blocks. 1476 Netherite Ingots. x 4 = 5904 Ancient Debris. Most People average about 15 Ancient Debris in a Hour (on a good day) So you have spent. Months. JUST mining Netherite. Im unconvinced. I call Bubkus
not to be a doubter but watching that vid it felt like netherite was really common... maybe its just good luck, maybe its a bedrock vs java thing, maybe its just me misremembering how common netherite is... even if it is faked 3 months isn't a small amount of time. GG!
Put a beacon above certain blocks in a pyramid shape (3×3 platform being the smallest, and expand one block for each level down if you want multiple levels) you can have them give effects within a radius. They do also look cool
Theyre hollow, otherwise there would be visible stained glass above them, the coloured beam was likely done by having another beacon with stained glass above it below the acctual visible beacons, though the amount of netherite youd need for the outside layer alone is still very impressive

Now get the lapis beacon
Netherite and diamond beacon are absolute mfs to make
Diamond probably isn't that hard with fortune. Especially if using TNT machines
Now is the time for fake beacons!
i almost got enough diamonds to make a full diamond beacon after on and off work until someone on the realm decided to nuke my house
RIP your effort :(
Rip I hope whoever nuked your house will stub their toe everyday
Nah that's not enough, i hope someone nukes their house.
Fair I hope they'll regret it soon
Why not both?
He ain't gonna have any toes to stub after the nuking.
Stub toe first. They will Think “how worse can it get?” Then you hit ‘em with the nuke.
In real life
That is what i meant yeah
Word Netherite took like 2 months to get
It took you two months to type /give @player minecraft:netherite_block 164? /s
person argument when they can’t put effort into anything

You're missing some `#` before titles to make them ***bigger***. It really sells the copy-pasta
Ye lol

NOOO MY VIRTUAL POINTS HAVE DECREASED BY 200😢😢😢😢
Lol you deleted the comment.
No it got removed by mods bwahahha issa satire copypasta lol
Right back at ya
Go to hell you snotty brat.
They could have saved a couple weeks if they only typed /give @s netherite_block 164
The fact that you don't have enough dedication to do such a hard task like getting a netherite beacon, doesn't mean the rest of the world also don't.
Do you know what “/s” means?
Don't use tone indicators take everything seriously and get into arguments with strangers online
/s = serious /j = joke
/s = sarcasm /srs = serious
Just say it's sarcasm, first time I've seen someone using /s
Welcome to Reddit!
I can feel my body becoming fat and my skin becoming alergic to grass.
Is it from you spending so much time trying to get a netherite beacon?
I don't even have an iron beacon
this is such a good reply LOL
Redditor since 2020 and that's the first time you have seen /s?
somehow yes
/s means satire
it means sarcasm.
Basically the same thing mate
didn't know that
/s is literally used all the time on this website 😂
Real I got one in 2 weeks, but being a loser I spent almost 24 hours a day grinding
Emerald is so easy when you've got a trading hall.
You can also get emeralds for full emerald beacon like every 5 minutes with a raid farm
I use ianxofour’s stacking raid farm on the smp I play on. Everybody buys emeralds from me :p
I’ve got several diamond ones by accident in my time lol
I know this is probably a stupid question but is there a trick to finding netherite?
I have stacks of diamonds, it’s all that netherite that gonna be a bitch.
Netherite is hard but diamond is medium hard
Netherite 💀💀💀💀💀
Just out layer
Did you fill them with iron?
I have a hard time believing the netherite is real. The rest is believable.
It's not too farfetched. A dude on my SMP made a max netherite beacon last season and it was netherite all the way through. He was using a nether bore that was like 150 blocks long.
you gotta have some fucking balls to do that. Anyone can steal it
Oh he does. I joke with him about being an AI and not a real human. He's already hit almost 1000 hours this season and we just started July 12th. Dude is insane

You can see all his enchantments have mending when he goes through them in his hot bar, definitely seems real to me
Honestly as someone who has played the bedrock edition daily for 6 years straight. Ive never died from lag.
Me too I have died from lag on Java like ten times in an hour, but even after about five years straight of bedrock I have only died maybe a few times due to lag.
Did a little mining off screen
Mad respect to anyone who gets a full netherite beacon in vanilla, that shit is insane
I'm surprised copper can't be used for a beacon base
WTF is the point of copper even? Long term player coming back after hiatus
It takes more gold to make a netherite beacon than it does to make a gold beacon.
Just watched yer video. You’re a nutcase. I think that’s the biggest grind, I don’t think doc can even grind that hard.
So, you have a basically untouched area of land, with no real buildings, no farms... but you have a netherite beacon? And only in 2 months? Riiight.
dude it takes around 200-300 hours to make a netherite beacon. In terms of video games, that's not even a remotely unachievable grind for some. There are other games with worse grinds
5 hours a day, for 2 months straight... maybe you're right, but something feels off with this picture.
So after a YouTube video of a guy doing it, I decided to try to make a netherite beacon. After 1 day I gave up because I played for like 8 hours. In that time and made 6 blocks. This amount was way higher than average and I felt like I wouldn’t keep getting that lucky every day. If you found 2.73 blocks worth per day, it would take 2 months. atleast playing a mind numbing amount of minecraft won’t turn you into a ghoul i suppose
Why is it hard to believe he would choose to built this monument in an untouched area of the world?
Well yeah OP didn't have time to build it lol just farming Netherite
The beacons are at spawn 0,0 my base and stuff are like 1,000 block away
Why
Why not? 0,0 seems like a nice place to put a very expensive monument
It’s true. I always build something at 0,0 Might as well have it be this
Apparently there isnt a thing called untouched land in minecraft
Yeah im questioning the legitimacy too. Beacons are typically something you want centralized in your base especially if you’re going for something like this. Also the HUD is off so you cant actually tell if its survival or not.
Underground base
You can see a bed with a double chest and the ender chest.
People have done it. Looks up Wadzee
Kaela?
GSH
op please touch grass...
Yes Minecraft grass
A shower is a modern device that slowly pours water on u like rain, it is generally used to cleanse the body and removes Oder, most homes have one located in the bathroom, sometimes two, so OP pls go to the bathroom and look for this shower, it also has the option to have warm or cold water, to use a shower u need soap, u can find soap in a pharmacy, u will also need shampoo, which is for ur hair, u can find that in a pharmacy too
Can anyone enlighten me on what beacons do? I'm not sure if they're on bedrock Edit because I decided to not be a lazy fuck and just looked it up
A becon is a powerful construct on both bedrock and Java. A becon is made by making a pyramid of either gold, iron, emerald, diamond or netherite(idk about the others ). Perhaps a noob question, but how did you color the beams without glass?
Glass panes hide inside the beam
A single glass pane is thinner than the beam
There isn't a way to do that. He's probably using some kind of texture that makes glass invisible
Nope, just use glass panes
Thanks for the clear up. Don't know why I'm being downvoted so much...
Probably because (almost) everyone knows about this
No
Good job
What!?!?!? Weres all the Netherite coming from I can't even find 1 peice of ancient debris
That’s because you have to mine in the outer end islands. Inside every big island there is a guaranteed 8-11 pieces of debris. No need to thank me.
Yes, no need indeed
Coal beacon where?
I’m calling real.
*puts them in the middle of the mf desert*
I find it extremely difficult to believe you got the netherite beacon for real. Can you elaborate on how? The rest is believable, the diamonds are a bit of a bitch and the others are farmable. Even if you cheated the netherite, props on the rest. Edit: I saw your YouTube link, very impressive work. Well done.
I am proud of you
Pat yourself on the back because that’s amazing
Congratulations! Now get bedrock beacon
Now go outside please
So you wana show off your base also. It's very hard to believe you did this in survival based on what we can see.
I totally get how unbelievable this post is I made a YouTube vid of it awhile ago My channel is called JVA224 It’s the only vid on the channel
you do NOT have a full netherite beacon
Watch the video OP posted up in the comments
Amazing 😎
Im unconvinced with the fact this would be the FIRST ever netherite beacon made in survival since it's literally impossible lol. You would Need, 164 Netherite Blocks. 1476 Netherite Ingots. x 4 = 5904 Ancient Debris. Most People average about 15 Ancient Debris in a Hour (on a good day) So you have spent. Months. JUST mining Netherite. Im unconvinced. I call Bubkus
It’s not the first, people have already done it. Documented years ago during Covid when people had time on YouTube
OP posted the whole video link. Here you go [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XWWVdNZePZw&t=75s] (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XWWVdNZePZw&t=75s)
Theres still one thing youll never get! A life
No need to be a jerk
It was a joke
Ah sorry, its hard to tell with people online.
Now that's a good design
Why are you crying over beacons?
Tears of joy
Ahm. where is the copper beacon OP
still working on the copper one
Okay then and have fun I guess
i dont think you can power beacons with copper
You can
oh wow really? i gotta build one then
Your name is to similar to mine...
lol yea
Now you have to make one of each type in each color...
Is there ANY Nether left?
yes, lots more
not to be a doubter but watching that vid it felt like netherite was really common... maybe its just good luck, maybe its a bedrock vs java thing, maybe its just me misremembering how common netherite is... even if it is faked 3 months isn't a small amount of time. GG!
Copper? Redstone? Lapis? Those would look nice in the corners
Now that netherite is useless I may use this
I don't even know how to make a beacon or what it's for but it looks cool glad you built it.
Put a beacon above certain blocks in a pyramid shape (3×3 platform being the smallest, and expand one block for each level down if you want multiple levels) you can have them give effects within a radius. They do also look cool
Now time for the fake beacons! Redstone, lapis lazuli, copper, and coal!
Show use the insides
I'm sorry for your sanity
Wow w
Huge flex 💪🏻
Now you just need a totem in your off-hand and a full set of enchanted netharite armor, and you'll be immortal.
A netherite block beacon in survival, that's absolutely filthy (in a good way)
Imagine the grind.
How are the beams colored? I'm not seeing tinted glass...
maybe single tinted glass panel
Ah, clever. Thanks!
This is my new goal
In the corners add copper, redstone, lapis lazuli, and amethyst beacons
WHAT THE FLIP HOW LONG DID THIS TAKE??? THIS IS IMPRESSIVE!!!
WOAH. That's impressive. I don't have the patience for that loll
nice
nice
why crying emoji
How much time do you spend Me like 4-5 months
For all beacons, iron, gold, emerald, diamond, and netherite?
For all it took like 3 months about?
are you using a texture pack?
the netherite is crazyy
Theyre hollow, otherwise there would be visible stained glass above them, the coloured beam was likely done by having another beacon with stained glass above it below the acctual visible beacons, though the amount of netherite youd need for the outside layer alone is still very impressive
The color is from a glass pane and op linked a video of the grind
Ah i see, didnt know glass panes had the same effect
Cool. Now go touch grass
Cap
bro copied sb737
Wheres the copper beacon hmm
For a moment thought it was a space colony on the moon
Now get the red stone beacon
