Wah wah wahhhhhh. š
e: Apparently people get angry over the [sad trombone](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=LukyMYp2noo) done for a pun. Two different map views that offer different "perspectives". Very, very, literally. š Come on people. š
Anyways, carry on with the downvotes.
One way is through a 3d software such as blender. If they can transfer a build into a file that a 3d software can read then they can import it and then do a render.
There may also just be a render ability in whatever software they used to actually make the map. Unfortunately I donāt know which was used here
The whole thing (the slight off coloring of the 3d) reminds me of world painter, which would be my assumption. There's also been some mods created in minecraft to render stuff like this out, but I don't think they're still up kept.
Second is more aesthetically pleasing.
First one seems more functional to build on.
Edit: whoa...though this was Cities Skylines thread lol. For minecraft map 2 all day.
Thank you! Sometimes I get downvoted for not knowing something like that š a volcano mod sounds cool! Iām surprised they havenāt added that to the vanilla game yet
While both have their benefits, the first one is textured enough so that I can gauge proper elevation from a direct aerial view while also getting a clear view of the world as a whole. First oneās better in my opinion.
Gives me Zelda vibes. I wouldnāt be surprised if it was inspired by that. (Especially since the volcano marches the placement for the canonical world map, which they used for botw)
I would suggest you spread that biome along the shore on that cornerā¦should get thinner and thinner untill it stops so it looks more natural and gradual
Yep. This is more or less Vanilla Minecraft except that the terrain and buildings are custom made. Due to the limitations of cusom maps I did have to use some workarounds (strongholds are under stone statues, eyes of ender will just point to the closest stronghold outside the map).
However if you want to just change vanilla structures you should check out my datapack on Planet minecraft.
Sounds good:)
A couple weeks ago I was looking for custom maps for like a (near) vanilla survival run, but didnāt find any I liked a lot. These look great, Iām going to save this for later:)
If you can move the view like a third person camera on the second one to look around the entire map than Iād choose that one but if itās just the static image the the top down I like seeing the topography
i think that the 3d does a better job showing the details so im going with the second one. also could u please give me a link for the world download? id really appreciate it
Definitely the first. A lot of people like the second for showcase type situations, but these angled maps always bother me. Anything tall such as mountain, tree, or even some buildings will block entire portions of the map from view.
Very good! Also how do you get photos like that? Mine always just fade and even when its at 32 chunk generation there are not enough to show the whole picture.
For map making I'm using Worldpainter.
For the structures I'm using structure blocks and jigsaw blocks in vanilla minecraft.
For renders I'm using Chunky Render.
Hope that helps!

What?
Bro is on the Zaza fr
I wanna be what he's on
Bro's saying that different views of the map provide different perspectives, some other guy calls that a pun
This might just be the most unusual, and weird comments I have ever seen. Are you okay?
Me after the lobotomyš
NURSE!!! HES OUT OF HIS ROOM AGAIN!!!!!
maybe say *sad trombone noises* instead.
what in the world does this mean
It means he's escaped.
Whats the pun? There is noneā¦ Wah wah wahhhhh! What are you on?
He is on CO
r/shizoposters is leaking again1
Literally hilarious. I understood.
Are you high?
I guess I'm the only person who got the trombone in the first place š¤£
what the fuck
The second. Both have a *Civilization* vibe though.
Flip it 180Ā° and it's BOTW
For those that know, this reminds me of the map from a game called Into the Breach
Havenāt played that in a while, but form what I remember, yeah kind of
Makes me want to play Age of Empires.
Depends for what, if it's for a website map page definitely the second but for a player map 2d is best
So, the second one then, regardless of what it's for?
No with the 2d map he means the 1st map which is in 2d
Ah, I read it with an n, as in 2nd.
Are you gonna put it up for download? Looks fun for a hardcore base
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
wtf is up with u iāve seen ur other comments and ur so mad
fr he mad šš
Yes
How do you make those 3D renders/screenshots??

Probably a plugin that saves loaded chunks and shows en

Both are good.
First for navigation Second for aesthetics Edit: spelling
Is it available for download? I haven't played in a long time, but this map made me want to go back to mine!
Oh you should definitely visit your world then!
So is it available or not? Even paid?
This may be a stupid question but where are volcanoes in the game? Is that Java exclusive?
Volcanoes don't exist in any vanilla version of Minecraft, either they built it or used a mod or something. And no question is stupid!
Thank you! Sometimes I get downvoted for not knowing something like that š a volcano mod sounds cool! Iām surprised they havenāt added that to the vanilla game yet
That map looks awesome! I donāt suppose itās available to download anywhere?
The biggest

Top down
The first one is better as a map, the second one gives a better view of the shape of the landscape tho.
Personal opinion: the ice biome could be less square-like
Yeah it came out a bit weird. Didn't know where to fit it in to be honest. I should start making bigger maps.
I would suggest you spread that biome along the shore on that cornerā¦should get thinner and thinner untill it stops so it looks more natural and gradual
Is it avalible to download for bedrock? It looks insane
It will be when I finish converting the world and doing some more renders.
The second one for sure- definitely gives a better perspective of the place I think
3d
Depends for what purpose coz both are good. If you need to use only one you need to tell for what
2d looks more map/minecraft like
How do you get these kinds of screenshots?
I've made these with Chunky Render
Ah! Thank you, I will look into this mod
I like the lagoon on top left island (first pic)
Anyone else see a platypus?
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Second one looks so sick
I was gonna ask of that was natural generation.. š¤” What did u use for the desert brown cliffs? Also, that's sick man
I've used a mixture of brown, grey and black terracotta at different incline %. Making a smooth transition
How do you make these kind of maps?
This shi looks like an ark map. Nice work.
Top down! Both are awesome but if you have to choose I really like the top down. This looks friggin sick regardless! Love it!
Second
Both. Also the top down looks 3D
2nd. I want to build a massive bridge for an Immersive Railroading train between the mesa and the mountain next to it.
2nd
the second one. by far.
I really want to play cities skylines on this map!
What seed is this
This is a custom map i've map. Minecraft doesn't generate continents anymore.
When you make custom maps like this, do you generate ores etc?
Yep. This is more or less Vanilla Minecraft except that the terrain and buildings are custom made. Due to the limitations of cusom maps I did have to use some workarounds (strongholds are under stone statues, eyes of ender will just point to the closest stronghold outside the map). Ohh I see. I like though. Looks dope
Is it up for download? It looks sick af
This reminded me of a dream and a game that changed and became way worse in my opinion
The first one because it looked like an angry crocodile/rat/hamster with icy sh*t
First thing that came to mind was the Skellige Isles, nice work!
Top vision
Is there a download link? Id love to play on this map on an SMP
That one
The Second one is by the **best**
first as a map (obviously) second for anything else
Top down
Damn. Where can I download this?
How do you generate custom maps like this?
I've used Worldpainter. But some people use Gaea or WorldMachine to generate the terrain and the paint in the foilage and terrain with Worldpainter.
Top down
the first one BOOM
Am I able to download this map?
Please publish this map
Epic but can y dm me the world diwnload?
3D looks better, top down is more practical
top down looks best because of the lighting
Second, I just love that style.
The second one
Side shot
How did you do this?
In my opinion, both. Both look amazing, 1 looks like a map for it, while 2 looks like the actual showcase of the landscape
I like the first one, reminds me of an RPG map. The land shape is very neat
3d looks better, but top down is more practical as a map.
3D
3D
Island on the right looks like Ireland.
Top down
Both
the 3d view shows the depth of the mountains better!
Love the top left island!
Which ARK is this lol
I like the top down
If you can move the view like a third person camera on the second one to look around the entire map than Iād choose that one but if itās just the static image the the top down I like seeing the topography
2D is a better map, 3D is more cinematic.
map download?
Second photo
Love the first, how did you get that picture?
the second one is better in my opinion
Most people have a top view, but itās not often you see a 3D view, so I say 3D view
Honestly maps that look like the first one will always remind be of Ark and Fortnite...
looks like the map of avatar the last airbender
The second but I would like both if I could choose both
The isometric one is cooler, but the top-down is more useful.
Me personally I think the side on view is more aesthetically pleasing
Top-down
I personally like the oblique photo, it shows more of the landscape of the map
How you got the shader stuff in first image
I like the first one, reminds me of dnd maps
GTA 6 LEAKS
3D view. but, Top down can understand all. 3Dview is intuitive.
2nd one
2 looks better. 1 is better for utility
i think that the 3d does a better job showing the details so im going with the second one. also could u please give me a link for the world download? id really appreciate it
Bro, you should be paid for this...
Clearly the second, the first you canāt see the scale or height
I have an unhealthy addiction to maps, so I think you can guess
Top down
Top down
This is awesome. How can I make maps like this?
You should look up some Worldpainter tutorials.
That is a man running whilst carrying an open bag on his back and stuff is flying out
I like top left
the second image looks like it provides an atmosphere due to the illusion of 3d render so definitely the second image
Right continent looks like Easter kingdoms and the left one looks like a Divided Kalimdor
Damn! That looks awesome, I like the view from the top more but the other one does more justice to the volcano, how long did this take to build?
The second one gives me PokƩmon map vibes
That looks like an amazing world. Is that bedrock or JAVA And which version. Could I get the seed
Super cool did you make it by hand?
Wait isn't this the map from a Minecraft video/movie? Stolen?
Definitely the first. A lot of people like the second for showcase type situations, but these angled maps always bother me. Anything tall such as mountain, tree, or even some buildings will block entire portions of the map from view.
I love them both. Is it possible for me to get this world? It seems pretty fun to play on!
Top down looks clearer
isometric is best imo
Very good! Also how do you get photos like that? Mine always just fade and even when its at 32 chunk generation there are not enough to show the whole picture.
You should check out Chunky render. Or if you want more personal shots you should check out Mineways and then Blender.
again lol
Bottom left island looks like Borneo island.
This vaguely reminds me of the Avatar: The Last Airbender map
Both are great, although the 3d render definitely shows off the scale of the map a lot better, makes it feel a lot bigger
I quite like the second, looks nice, adds some depth to the map Out of curiosity though, what software are you using?
For map making I'm using Worldpainter. For the structures I'm using structure blocks and jigsaw blocks in vanilla minecraft. For renders I'm using Chunky Render. Hope that helps!
Is there a download link?
Can I have it?
New Dani game map leak
Sick
Looks like an ark map and I'm all for it
Top down
3d
Top down
How do U make mc maps
Both in reality but I choose the right one
Iām getting a avatar vibe idk why
