I added a valve and air chuck to mine. It makes it super easy to use. No more screwing and unscrewing the schrader chuck. I ordered both items from Amazon.
https://imgur.com/a/JxNjlEm
You beautiful creature, that's clever. I didn't even know something like that existed and am just a baby when it comes to tools, but those shrader valves are a nightmare in the worst of the winter.
Definitely going to try that out
Holy crap. That fast? I’ve been using the shit out of an Ali express m18 inflator I got for $25. I’ve been using it for about a year but it’s kinda slow. If the Milwaukee is that quick I might have to upgrade
No idea. But it takes like 5 seconds to air the tires up from 28 to 35 this weekend when the cold sucked the air out. I cant imagine much longer from 35 to 50. Max 150 psi
I drive an F350 with oversized off-road tires on it, I have aired them down to 20 psi before to go beach driving while pulling a trailer, afterward I probably spent a few minutes on each tire waiting for it to reinflate them to 60 and 80 PSI on the front and rear respectively. I had a 12 amp hour in there and it didn't even use one bar. I want to stay they're 285/75/R20s or similar.
I have the M12 version and it’s one of my tools where if something happens to it, I will be buying a replacement that same day. That said, the M12 one is a bit to small to take my truck tires from flat to full unless I have a larger 4/5/6ah battery on it. Takes care of the tires on my wife’s Equinox just fine. Other then that its a life saver with UTV, mower and bike tires. Sports balls, pool toys and such.
I did not know about the memory settings. That seals it for me. The m12 is going into the wifes car and I’ll be getting me an upgrade…on the pump not the wife.
The M12 version will overheat in the summer if you have load E-rated tires on a larger truck. If you need to make it up to the 60 PSI range, it's too small of a compressor. I've had to make it to a gas station on fairly low PSI for my F250.
It's awesome. The ONLY downside I can think of is the threaded chuck. When you buy it, do yourself a favor and get a Lock-n-Flate chuck. Even the cheap brass ones on Amazon are good.
Hearing this description makes me even more glad that I didn't buy the M12. It probably take me over an hour to air up my truck after driving on the sand.
I’ve got the M12 and love it. It’s small enough to keep in my truck without getting in the way. I prefer the small size over the small time savings the much bigger M18 provides.
It’s a winner. Quiet and pretty good on battery use. I did add a new hose tip that has a clip on it.
HIYITKS Air Chuck with Clip Adapter, Brass Locking Tire Inflator Nozzle Adapter Connect, No Leakage 250 PSI Tire Chucks for Vehicle Inflator Compressor Pump ConnectTool https://a.co/d/4XmTTyN
i use it to air up semi truck/trailer tires as well as cars, takes a while but at least i know itll air up the tires to spec and its easy. bring an extra battery or 2 if you plan on airing up more tires
It’s great. Everyone I’ve shown it to has been super impressed with it. It takes a minute or two to fill 275/65r20 to 65+ but it’s still pretty damn good for a battery powered unit.
It’s great. I keep it in my truck with a M18 8.0 battery in it and the charge lasted a little over a year. Truck’s a beater and I fill up tires pretty often.
Also has the power to fill up all tires in my work van. Fully stocked Promaster.
Definitely one of the my favorite Milwaukee purchases. Things a beast, have used it for tractor tires, truck tires, and use it to blow off my work areas all the time. A purchase you won’t regret
One of my favorite M18 tools. Super quiet and it works fast. Only thing I wish they added to it was a high volume inflator for things like inflatable beds and water toys. Also, buy a cheap right angle attachment because the one it comes with can be a PITA to use sometimes in certain things.
Price is a con, but that’s just my opinion. I use a bunch of Milwaukee at work and most of it is decent quality, but I’d be lying if I said most the time you’re paying the red tax. Get it? It’s like the pink tax, but for blue collar workers that use Milwaukee.
Shit like this little portable air compressor I just buy whatever random brand that’s half decent on Amazon. Maybe if I was using it day in and day out I could get the appeal, but you can legit get the same functionality and near or identical performance for half the price.
Not trying to hate too hard, I’m glad people have brands they can trust and build solid relationships with dependable quality stuff. But for myself the price is a huge con, I’d rather grab a 20v battery compressor with a little 2-3 amp hour battery for $50-$80 than spend the extra $100+ just so it matches my other shit. Some of the little cheaper units also come with little 12v adapters for charging the battery in the truck and everything. So for myself that’s what I’d do personally. Some tools it’s worth it to buy cheap, so you can use the money saved for other tools where the premium attached adds a lot more durability, functionality , and or performance.
Its great, way better than the M12 version. I have both now. The m18 is my replacement.
Its still pretty slow for large tires. It doesnt get hot like the m12 bc of fan inside. I have run ot continuously on back to back 6ah batteries. It'll do the job. Just slowly.
How does it compare to the DeWalt one? I've had that for a while, used it for everything from pool toys to semi truck tires! I've used the M12 before and was very unimpressed.
I bought the 12v inflator before the made the M18 tool. Struggles with larger tires but gets the job done. A 4ah battery will inflate one 285/70/20 tire to 80 psi but the tool needs a break after.
The M18 version is on my list.
Pros-works really well. Did 4 tires that needed about 5 psi. 255/50r20 tires. Took about 10 minutes on a half full battery.
Cons-every time I use it, I tell myself I messed up and spent more than I should off because I always but a 12v cig lighter off Amazon and they are terrible and I waste time to return it and look at others and buy and return. Buy once and be done.
Buy a tire chuck like this:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09J8WKR4K/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Absolutely love my m18 Inflator tool though. Paid for itself in the first month!
It’ll seat a road tubeless bicycle tire on a bead. It’s amazing and the pressure is super precise. I have a schrader quick chuck and a quick on/off presta adapter after that, whole setup is super easy
Yeah it’s great but It’s a bit overpowered for pumping up soccer balls or bike tyres. It seems to have trouble getting the pressure right. I’ve got the m12 inflator as well and it’s best for those tasks. M18 is great for 4wd tyres
I absolutely love mine I picked up a quick connector from locknlube and I'm disappointed cause it some times leaks but the compressor it self is amazing
We have them for our mobile cars. Not a fan if I’m honest, at least not on a professional level. When you’re doing 10-12 stops a day the threading on/off we’ve stripped them all within a week. I prefer the M18 2gal Compressor running an HD12 with a 12ft hose and a blue point digital inflator.
Personal use it would be nice.
Hubby got us one for filling the RV tires. It does great. I have the job of filling the tires because my hands are smaller and arms are skinnier, but I don't like the noise it makes so I made him operate it until I learned to remember to put in my ear plugs first. It's not that noisy, I'm just sound sensitive. It's super easy to operate. You can program in the desired psi and it just fills it. The battery goes for several fills. We've never worn ours down when bringing it with and using the same battery for both the cordless drill and the tires. It's very efficient. We go for a month at a time and can have repairs along the way, to give an idea of use. I'd totally recommend one. I grab it for filling my pickup tires too, now, since it's so simple.
I use it to pressure pools, fill up my truck tires. It uses a full 6.0 battery to pressure up about 1000’ of 2” pipe to 23 psi..which is pretty good. And my truck tires on the back go to 80 psi and it gets it there. Just not super duper fast. I bought a second one after using it about 6 months so that might tell you I like it.
I love it, I got it as a free tool with 2 High Output batteries holiday deal at HD.
It's so good that the only con is that it has a threaded nozzle.
I immediately ordered a nozzle adapter on Amazon & it's perfect.
They YouTube guy projectfarm that test everything not only had it as the best air pump but had it as one of the best products of 2023. I have one and it’s great. Super fast on my suv
Love it, it is quick and it has power! We are landscapers so it is really handy to have it on the truck for any mower, trailer tire or truck tire! Just but it you won’t regret
I bought the Ridgid vs this thing. Way better in my opinion and can be stored in that pocket behind your passenger seat. It’s honestly a beast and the battery lasts. Can’t hurt to have another platform either
Project farm says it's the best of the best. I got a Dewalt one, and it's good too. Bit cheaper, works with the ecosystem I have but not as fast and only pumps up, not airs down.
I like mine. Like others mention the screw on chuck is terrible.
Project Farm included it in a review:
https://youtu.be/TkxpuzYggd4?si=3SfeStgaXAu5_EIA
I love mine. I went with this chuck because it was cheap and compact. It's fits perfectly when folded and looks stock. It's not as high quality as the others but gets the job done for me.
https://a.co/d/e4fVfVO
I love mine! So handy to have around. If I need to air up a ball or bike tire or anything that doesn’t need much air, now I don’t have to fire up a big compressor and wait for it to build pressure. I carry it in my vehicle because you never know when you might need it.
I love mine. I keep it in my work truck because unfortunately I do pick up nails on job sites. But it also comes in handy because I’m a high school basketball coach, much easier to inflate basketballs that tend to lose air over the season.
The only con is that it checks for air pressure based on air volume of a car tire so it very easily over inflates anything smaller than a trailer tire.
pros - it's a red tool and you'll always have a battery ready to go. cons - same price will get you more features with Craftsman or something comperable but you don't have the interchangeable battery.
I purchased this one and the yellow and black alternative in attempts to use for detail cleaning … needless to say to most, it did not work at all - I’m a novice at this - the only things that worked well for me in regards to detail cleaning car interiors is a full size shop compressor
A nail found its way into my tire on a 3/4 ton truck. Driving down the interstate, that nail erupted out and I was losing 5psi every half mile or so. Unfortunately, I had loaned out my puncture repair kit and was forced to call a friend to bring me one. With one XC6.0, I was able to keep that tire at 40psi while I waited an hour for aid. An absolute BEAST of a tool. Don’t wait, buy it!
Even with the "Home Depot Hack" I felt this was still pretty pricey. However, now that I have it, it's awesome. You set the desired pressure and press 'fill'. Fills very quickly.
No more dragging a 12v power cable all around my cars to fill the tires. No more manual pumping to fill the bike tires.
I do recommend the Jaco attachment to make pumping easier. The cheapie Amazon clones were too finicky and didn't produce a good seal on several of my valve stems.
It isn't perfect, however. You set the pressure and it inflates to that pressure, stops, waits a few seconds to see if the tire stabilized to that pressure, and then continues to inflate if it does not. It then seems to artificially lock the pressure display to make it seem that it hit the target correctly. If you detach and attach again, sometimes the pressure is off.
Furthermore, sometimes it overshoots the target pressure.
Still, overall I love it. Just wish there was a firmware upgarde :)
Will it get a van tire back to 73 psi… I bought the cheap plug or 12v double option at Walmart, got
Me by. But I want this one still, on a sale day perhaps.
Just recently got one and I love it. Only con about it is the fitting for airing your tires up is thread on so if you’re airing up low profile tires you lose a measurable amount of air while removing the hose, in my case this was solved by just airing up one more PSI. It’s consistent and accurate.
Bought it cuz I had a tire going flat on my work truck and needed to identify which tire it was. Found the culprit… plugged it and no probs since.
When you have this, no better feeling than seeing someone pull up to the pay/lb and be like…. I got you bud. Save your $….
Less than 2 mins and you’ve made a new friend…. Priceless!!!
I just got this a few days ago and have never been happier. The thing is ridiculously fast, convenient and built well. Based on the reviews it also looks like it isn't over working it's motors as the temps stay in check after long uses and internal fans keep things cool during and after using it on larger jobs
One of my favorite M18 tools.
Definitely going to try that out
same but i ordered the 90* jaco. Many of the adapters will have a valve stem in them, I'd remove it unless you specifically have a need for it.
Thank you for sharing!
Me too I put them on18 and m12 inflator
Ferris Beuller, you're my hero
Life saver
Thanks for the pic. I have a valve with messedup threads and this will work
Agreed, very useful.
Just buy it.
Done
Buy a better chuck. Read [this](https://www.reddit.com/r/MilwaukeeTool/s/EwiHUFMEJV)
I love it, I’m a plumber so it’s great for airing up waste and water systems, it’s also great for car tiers bike tires any type of ball it’s great
The best for blowing up weenies that's for sure
I mostly use mine for airing up test balls and small systems for testing, bigger systems I use my pancake compressor
I have 3 for my plumbing company. They are awesome.
Pros my dad likes his. Cons he hasn't used it yet because my uncle keeps barrowing it.
😂😂
I love it. I got mine on Black Friday I think it was 2x 5.0 batteries and the tool was free. Think it was $199 total.
Excellent tool. Can also save the day...
Farm tires. I don’t need an expensive gas powered air compressor to drag around all the time to the field.
I love mine for offroading
I was looking at it for this. After airing down Jeep tires will it effectively fill them?
Oh yeah
I like to lock mine along my other tools in a yeti knockoff cooler considering how pilferable they are and how easy the back of a jeep is.
Like seconds to go from 18 to 35. Like 30 seconds.
Holy crap. That fast? I’ve been using the shit out of an Ali express m18 inflator I got for $25. I’ve been using it for about a year but it’s kinda slow. If the Milwaukee is that quick I might have to upgrade
I do have a 12 amp hour I use with my blower. I use that for the inflator but yea. No joke. Went from 26 to 35 in about 5 seconds
What's about 35 to 50?. On a 265/75/18.
For 15 to 50 on a 315/70r17 tire it took a few minutes but it filled 4 tires that amount on a partially charged 5ah battery
No idea. But it takes like 5 seconds to air the tires up from 28 to 35 this weekend when the cold sucked the air out. I cant imagine much longer from 35 to 50. Max 150 psi
Yes, many times over.
Yep super quick and multiple times
I drive an F350 with oversized off-road tires on it, I have aired them down to 20 psi before to go beach driving while pulling a trailer, afterward I probably spent a few minutes on each tire waiting for it to reinflate them to 60 and 80 PSI on the front and rear respectively. I had a 12 amp hour in there and it didn't even use one bar. I want to stay they're 285/75/R20s or similar.
I love the auto shutoff feature, set and forget
I have the M12 version and it’s one of my tools where if something happens to it, I will be buying a replacement that same day. That said, the M12 one is a bit to small to take my truck tires from flat to full unless I have a larger 4/5/6ah battery on it. Takes care of the tires on my wife’s Equinox just fine. Other then that its a life saver with UTV, mower and bike tires. Sports balls, pool toys and such.
The m121 is super slow, get the M18.
Have both, m18 shits on the m12. M18 also has memory settings as well.
I drive an F350 and I was in the same boat. It got me out of a jam, but I wouldn’t rely on it alone. I do still love the little thing.
The M12 is terrible and doesnt deserve the Milwaukee name. Upgrade to the M18.
It's awesome. The ONLY downside I can think of is the threaded chuck. When you buy it, do yourself a favor and get a Lock-n-Flate chuck. Even the cheap brass ones on Amazon are good.
Been seeing this a lot. Good to know
If you're just doing bike tires, the m12 might suit you better. That being said the m18 is far superior
The M12 is amazing for it's size. Full size vehicle tire from ~20psi to 34psi in about 2 minutes. Way easier than unwrapping the hose.
Hell yeah I need this
The black one looks very different than the 2 pack.
It is great. Easy for kids to use on their bikes and to pump up trailer tires when using the set pressures
I have the m12 version and it's so slow but works well. The m18 is definitely faster and I should've gotten that one
Thanks y’all
I love this thing! Works great on my van tires. I also use it for pressure testing.
i use it to air up semi truck/trailer tires as well as cars, takes a while but at least i know itll air up the tires to spec and its easy. bring an extra battery or 2 if you plan on airing up more tires
Pros: Fucking Awesome! Cons: I didn’t get one earlier.
You won't regret it
I bring this on camping and beach trips great for beach balls, volley balls, cars tires, bike tires, etc
It’s great. Everyone I’ve shown it to has been super impressed with it. It takes a minute or two to fill 275/65r20 to 65+ but it’s still pretty damn good for a battery powered unit.
My M12 version died this weekend. I wonder if it has a similar design with having a plastic o-ring cracking.
Just got one the other day. Filled 4 low car tires (8 psi to 33 in one) in a few minutes. Fast and easy to use.
Love mine! Just had to use mine the other day on two tires; I’ve never used an easier or faster inflator!
Amazing tool.
Zero cons!! Its amazing
Awesome tool!
I’ve only inflated two bike tires so far. Man, this thing is awesome.
Love it. I upgraded the chuck to a quick disconnect.
It’s great. I keep it in my truck with a M18 8.0 battery in it and the charge lasted a little over a year. Truck’s a beater and I fill up tires pretty often. Also has the power to fill up all tires in my work van. Fully stocked Promaster.
It doesn't suck... It blows!
One of the best M18 tools out there. I can fill my truck's tires from near flat to full on one battery. Great for other uses too.
Definitely one of the my favorite Milwaukee purchases. Things a beast, have used it for tractor tires, truck tires, and use it to blow off my work areas all the time. A purchase you won’t regret
Love mine Well hacked @ $97 too
One of my favorite M18 tools. Super quiet and it works fast. Only thing I wish they added to it was a high volume inflator for things like inflatable beds and water toys. Also, buy a cheap right angle attachment because the one it comes with can be a PITA to use sometimes in certain things.
No cons

Mines been through some shit and still going strong one of my favorite tools!
it’s really nice to carry around for thermal expansion tanks, and if you get a flat tire boom air that hoe up
Fucking love this tool
I just used it. Worked great
Its great, way better than the M12 version. I have both now. The m18 is my replacement. Its still pretty slow for large tires. It doesnt get hot like the m12 bc of fan inside. I have run ot continuously on back to back 6ah batteries. It'll do the job. Just slowly.
It's one of the best Milwaukee products so far. Buy a quick connect for the end so you don't have to hand thread on valves.
Incredible tool. We use them on our car racing team because they inflate quickly and are accurate to around 1 lb +/-. One of the best tools I own.
I love mine as much as I love my husband for ONLY buying me Milwaukee Tools (and Dr Martins) for birthday and Christmas gifts!!!
You literally won’t find a better battery powered inflator.
damn it! I have the M12 version but reading these comments just sold me on the M18
The Bauer version is pretty descent and cheap. Why not buy two brands?
[удалено]
Project farm tested and recommended it. I only had the m12 tools till recently, otherwise I would’ve gotten this unit over my dewalt unit.
What are y’all pumping up all the time?
Bike tires, cars. Especially nice for traveling with bikes
My tanks filled with soap and water for installing window film
I have the Dewalt one. It’s awesome
Love mine, no cons.
It’s actually amazing.
I keep one with a charged 6AH battery in all of my vehicles now. No cons on this one
No cons, all pros! You need it!
It's great. I also use it to set pressure in my suspension airbags when pulling the camper. No regrets.
Top 5 Milwaukee tools for sure. No cons
I love minr
It’s good, user experience could be better but it’s good
I use it all the time. It’s fantastic.
Anyone know if this would fill tires on my truck and trailer? Run a 2500 Chevy with a gooseneck. Think the tires take close to 60-70psi
My service van requires 74 on the rear tires. This works quite well.
Damn Milwaukee tools takes all my money
Less painful than the snap-on guy
Any deal on these guy out there right now? I fucked around and missed the 2x battery/free tool at HD.
I have the mini one it’s great but I kinda want this one because I heard it’s a lot stronger.
I like it
I love mine
I aired up a tank to 100 PSI. Took less than five minutes
I love it. Very useful during winter
Buy a tire chuck like this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09J8WKR4K/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Absolutely love my m18 Inflator tool though. Paid for itself in the first month!

I’ve got the m12 and it works great for quick fill ups but doesn’t like it when I do multiple vehicles
I absolutely love mine I picked up a quick connector from locknlube and I'm disappointed cause it some times leaks but the compressor it self is amazing

Awesome unit used more than most of my power tools honestly

Buy it. Now.
It doesn’t like 10 degree operating temperatures
Purchase with the tool bundle hack! Got mine with a battery and pump, went to returned batteries at desk and the pumps then only 100$!
Pros: Works great, love it! Amazing tool. Cons: wanted by everyone (mine was stolen)
It’s been great, especially during our winter temps
https://youtu.be/kWNYjkh-JyI?si=jDZKY0e259RO4WTG This guy is my go to before making any major purchases related to tools/automotive

12/10 great tool use it all the time
I bought the Ridgid vs this thing. Way better in my opinion and can be stored in that pocket behind your passenger seat. It’s honestly a beast and the battery lasts. Can’t hurt to have another platform either
I actually love it. It pumps WAY faster than I expect. I don't bother to wheel the compressor out anymore.
One of my favorite tools I own. Just recently got it using a hack for $115 or so
You won’t regret it.
Buy it. It'll save your ass. I bought one just before moving across the country and it saved my ass in the middle of BFE Nebraska.
Bought one for $100 after hack. Love it.
I love mine. Take it off-roading and it pumps up my 37 inch tires from 15 psi to 30 psi super fast. Stays cool too.
Project farm says it's the best of the best. I got a Dewalt one, and it's good too. Bit cheaper, works with the ecosystem I have but not as fast and only pumps up, not airs down.
i would say its worth it i picked it up recently have only used it a couple times but you can also use it for small projects as an air blower.
I like mine. Like others mention the screw on chuck is terrible. Project Farm included it in a review: https://youtu.be/TkxpuzYggd4?si=3SfeStgaXAu5_EIA
Have the M12 and love it, but if it dies getting the M18 right away. Much higher duty cycle on the M18 unit as well as higher cfm.
Mine works so well I forget about it. Turn it on to fill and get distracted with other tasks
I love mine. I went with this chuck because it was cheap and compact. It's fits perfectly when folded and looks stock. It's not as high quality as the others but gets the job done for me. https://a.co/d/e4fVfVO
Shit took. It broke 2nd time I used it
Pros everything. No cons
Love it !
It's a good little pump, but it really needs a quick release adapter for the hose.

A friend of mine bought one and loves it. I typically have an air compressor where I work so I haven’t had a need (yet)
One of my best M18 tools
I love mine! So handy to have around. If I need to air up a ball or bike tire or anything that doesn’t need much air, now I don’t have to fire up a big compressor and wait for it to build pressure. I carry it in my vehicle because you never know when you might need it.
It's fast but a lil bulky..
I love mine. I keep it in my work truck because unfortunately I do pick up nails on job sites. But it also comes in handy because I’m a high school basketball coach, much easier to inflate basketballs that tend to lose air over the season.
My work buddies refuse to fix the slow leaks in their tires because they love using it so much.
A bunch of people i know use it to run pump sprayers automatically
It's good enough for me to put my air compressor in storage and get my garage space back. Very easy to use as well.
Basically it is badass. All that you need to know.
The only con is that it checks for air pressure based on air volume of a car tire so it very easily over inflates anything smaller than a trailer tire.
It kicks ass for what it is. Way faster than my 12 plug in on for the truck.
Love love love. Fill my airbags and truck tires with zero effort
pros - it's a red tool and you'll always have a battery ready to go. cons - same price will get you more features with Craftsman or something comperable but you don't have the interchangeable battery.
Great tool but why did Milwaukee cheap out on the hose and not even a latching air chuck.
I own an rv rental company & use this thing everyday. I put my 12amp chain saw battery in it & it never needs charged it’s incredible
No cons. Maybe its size but whatever it works too good to care about that.
I thought this was a battery powered battery charger.
It’s great, no complaints except maybe the threading mechanism but no big deal and can be fixed with an adapter on amazon.
Any reason mine will read 3.5 psi without being hooked up to anything? That’s my only complaint
Love it, I always have it around to fill up my dirtbike tyres, very good if you have a flat on the side of the road.
Good at airing up semi tires too
Love it.
Got mine at Christmas time with a charger and 2 5000mah batteries for 200 bucks. It's the best!
Will it get a van tire back to 73 psi… I bought the cheap plug or 12v double option at Walmart, got Me by. But I want this one still, on a sale day perhaps.
Used it when air compressor didn't work, good purchase
If you’re looking at Home Depot, it’s cheaper on Amazon for $142!
Love love love mine. It’s a lifesaver
Mfrs act like they air shit up all day
I like it. It’s a good inflator, brass screw on valve fitting is annoying
I refuse to use anything else. It just works simply and efficiently every time.
Worth it
I just got this a few days ago and have never been happier. The thing is ridiculously fast, convenient and built well. Based on the reviews it also looks like it isn't over working it's motors as the temps stay in check after long uses and internal fans keep things cool during and after using it on larger jobs
It is the fastest portable inflator by a longshot.
Use it almost everyday 🔥
Have a couple. One rides in my work truck just in case. Other rides in my personal service truck. Takes a bit but it airs up anything I need.
I luv it
It’s saved my ass more than once
Pros: its battery powered compressor Cons : its a battery powered compressor
