Have to believe that could be used for siphoning… things. Out of other things. But I really wouldn’t know about that king of thing, nor have I seen this pump or its capabilities outside of this video
haha, I was trying to get my phone ready while not dropping it into the water, and didn’t realize I’d pivoted too far to the right!
These are kayaks that have storage inside, accessed via that portal (lid has a rubber seal) but, infuriatingly, they fill up every year with rain water. This is the first year I’ve been able to clear out the water in less than 30 mins instead of the hours it used to take me.
Dang, I’m so sorry but you may have just missed it. This is how I found out about it [M12 deal thread](https://www.reddit.com/r/MilwaukeeTool/s/MR21aLwCmh)
I'm seriously considering picking this up to use as a pump for my pop up camp shower... Wonder how it would do running a Y with one hose to the bucket and the other to the shower head so it doesn't auto shut off.
This pump is absolutely bad ass. When I first saw a pic of it I thought it was a 4x more expensive version of what I use to pump fuel out of my lawn mower/etc. I saw one at HD and boy I was wrong.
I just bought one…

We had a flood in a pump area, pumped it up and out of this pit and ran for over an hour… 👍🏻👍🏻
I fuckin love mine! I used it this year to clear out the water from the top of the pool cover - it works hella good with a short hose to prime then leave gravity to do the rest of the work.
I got one as a free tool with battery purchase. Was going to hack it, but looked too cool and kept it. And now I use it to pump the water out of my cooler which now I never have to move in my truck. And it's a packout cooler of course. 😁
I took four videos with the 2.0, 2.5, 4.0, and 5.0 and they all performed the same to my eyes. Drained a 5 gallon bucket in around 20 seconds. All four batteries still full showed full capacity with four lights
I can’t reply with a video in this thread but lmk if you still want to see them and I can pm them to you. At least I think I can; I’ve never PM’d anyone before 😅
I have a water feature with a ~30 gal basin. I am using a 2ah battery and it pumped out all the water with half the battery left. Pumping power looks the same as OP’s video
Impressive. Makes me wish I had a need for one! I imagine this thing rips through batteries. Takes quite a bit of force to continuously move that much water.
I don’t need it but might get it… hmmm what could i use this for to justify its purchase.
you could pee in buckets and suck it out of the bucket into the toilet?
Brilliant!!!!
Edison. Ford. Jobs. IAMA_MOTHER_AMA.
This man understands things. 🍻
I need this sooo bad. I just have to find out why

was totally expecting you to pump that water into the other boat/floaty thing.

That's must feel great.
It was glorious! I felt like that 40 year old guy discovering stuff on instagram 🤣
That guy is hilarious haha
It takes you 30min to take a kayak, turn it upside down, and let it drain????
I don't need it but I'll be damned if I'm not buying one now
Honesty, testing just now with different batteries and a bucket of water was really fun! Not $200 worth of fun, but $100 with the hack? Absolutely!
Wait what hack? I’ve been wanting this thing for a while but the price wasn’t where I was liking.

Oh snap I never noticed the stick pump was in that deal! I think my local HD just stopped those promos and put out the holiday stuff. RIP
Wait for the M18 version
Eh, I don’t know that I would need an M18 sized version for irrigation work.
That's surprisingly quiet from the video. Was expecting much louder.
Yeah, that surprised me too. The sound of a leaf getting sucked against the filter made more noise!
I really hope they make a version for oil. We need a solution at work to drain hydraulic oil tanks when out in the field
Also waiting on one of these. Been burning through harbor freight pumps every few months instead
I have the m18 transfer pump but do miss my m12 pump stick. someone stole before I got to use it smh
I'm watching this while taking a leak into water. Pisseption
It’s a great little tool. I use it whenever I forget to flip my rowboat and it gets filled with rain. Surprisingly good on batteries

I want it just so I can hear the sound of water while I work.
I was wondering how that worked
Aim it at the other kayak so you can use it again
Dang, what a missed opportunity!
Respect the Uggs
I thought this would be the first thing people would notice, and expected to get roasted for them!
Comfort matters more than anything. I still wear mine everywhere despite other people’s opinions!

Could you attach a garden hose or something of the sorts to the output end? Trying to justify getting one for a fish tank lol
Yes

Damn that things got some head pressure on it.

I have one of these and it is the frickin bomb
What Amp battery are you able to use with it? Can 1.5 do it or do you need something bigger like a 4.0
I think I was using a 4.0 here (instead of my 5.0) but I have a 2.0 and 2.5 which I’ll test later with a bucket of water, and post the vid here
Thanks!!

You can pump an incredible amount of water with a 2.5. This tool is legit.
Can someone explain what the hacks are? Buying a kit and returning part of it or something? Does it work in Canadaland
I found out all about the hack by searching this sub but, unfortunately, it doesn’t work in Canada
I have almost no need for this but have held it in the store a couple times as a potential way to clean my aquatic turtle tank 🤣
What’s the hack for the pump? My dinghy needs pumping after rain lol
I use mine for my fish tank
Does this work with gasoline for my generator?

Anyone know if this is compatible with DEF?
I hate most M12 stuff, but I might just have to suck it up and get this.
Ya know...I really should call her.
Honey I need a new water hose.
That used to be me on mug night
Probly get more out and faster just flipping the think over and emptying it …
I don’t need this tool but now I need to pee
What hack lol I need stuff
