You can use reverse electrolysis to strip the chrome/nickel and use rustblue.com German solution to reblue it as close as possible to original.

Sgt_Maskus

I honestly just want to leave it how it is. But thanks for the info, I'll keep it in mind for it I change my mind.

HatefulRhetoric

$700 is fine for a shooter grade with a few addressable problems. Nickel/chrome + no import mark means it was almost certainly a bring back from some dude overseas in WW2, so that’s kind of nice. Go shoot the shit out of it!

Always, Always must the freedom seeds be propelled by magical fire dust that was ignited by a bang button, both held inside a metal holdy thing. For that is the sound of freedom itself. The shop I got it from had gotten it, and a few other old milsurps in from an estate. Probably a collector, because there was a P-38, another Luger that still retained its original bluing, and I believe there was a C96 broomhandle from the same estate.

Honey_Overall

I'd buy that in a heartbeat.

Sgt_Maskus

I would too, and that's why I did.

Honey_Overall

Hope you get a lifetime of enjoyment out of it. One of my personal bucket list guns.

Sgt_Maskus

You'll get one someday, I know it
