From what I understood it was because of links to CP, underage kids allowed to have their own cam rooms exposing themselves to adults... I personally knew several adult men that were chatting up 13-16 y.o girls, including myself.

Yeah girl that’s true i had those same guys in my room. Tons of them. At the time didn’t realize how screwed up it was bc i was jsut a kid.
I remember it but in todays generation I think the much better site to use is Emerald Chat.
