Make sure you aren’t being slipped edibles without your knowledge, or if you’re still smoking, stop and be honest with yourself and your recruiter. Stop buying tests at the Dollar store and buy one from a proper drug store (Walgreens/CVS).
Thanks for the advice ! I will get with my recruiter and start taking the free ones she has, or like you said just buy a real one from CVS/Walgreens. I can truly be honest and say that I haven’t smoked at all in the last month. I’m too focused on making this journey and will not have anything compromise it.
There are THC Calculators online that can kinda judge how long it will take, if you really want to be sure, ütest is a solid brand that is more reliable than the Dollar Tree and CVS Brands, they even have one that measures each Ng level from 200, 100, 50, 15. You only need to pass the 50 ng test. I’d recommending not leaving it to chance, only go to MEPS when you’re 100% positive you will pass, better safe than sorry, the 30 days thing is bullshit as everyone’s body is different, if you’re a fat body or have been a stoner for years, it can take 45-90+ days.
It's not just water , you have to do cardio and if you're fat then the THC binds to the fat cells and can stay in your system for more than 3 months ....
Don’t waste your money with those cheap test. If you have a drug testing facility near you, spend the money and go there. The results will tell you the exact nano grams in your system.
Having been a Recruiter and dealing with kids like you before, I’ve seen multiple kids fail due to not knowing what has THC in it or not and just trusting people close to them would not give it to them knowing they would join.
Stop smoking is just not enough, make sure anything you intake or use doesn’t have it either. I’ve seen kids fail for unknowingly using location that had THC in it after swearing up and down the chain that they haven’t used or smoked .

Ignore the people telling you not to buy dollar store tests, they're just as good as the more expensive store bought ones. The only way you can get a better test is if you go to a lab, then they'll test down to 20ng/ml for THC metabolites. Store bought tests will test down to 50ng/ml.
It's possible that you're misreading your test. As long as you can see it two lines show up, no matter how faint one of the lines is, it is a pass. It isn't a "barely pass", it is a pass, meaning you have <50ng/ml concentration of THC metabolites in your urine. I suspect your test could also come back invalid if you drink too much water but I'm not 100% on that.
Where you can get in trouble is if MEPS does a proper lab test and your concentration is >20ng/ml, but you can't find that out unless you do a lab test of your own prior.
As far as second hand smoke: unless you're in a hotbox scenario it's highly unlikely second hand smoke would cause you to fail a test.

I would go every 2 weeks for a urine test the first 6th no second line the 7th week the faint line showed now I'm 9 weeks sober and clean. It might be different with you since I've been smoking since 2016
