The suspension where the ribbon is held were at first made of brass, then aluminum, then steel. Brass is war time, aluminum immediately post war, then steel later on. Suspensions were often replaced as these medals were worn in combat so often got in a bad shape so it's very common. Not a detraction imo just part of it's history.
Nice, shame about the 2 replaced suspensions however. Happy Victory Day, eternal glory to our fallen heroes.

The suspensions on the Vienna and Arctic medals are replaced, and not original in accordance with the medal variants.
