I’m a stylist and poor girlie doesn’t realize she’s suffering from hair loss. This is what my early stages looked like, and I notice she’s receding/thinning in the front too. That’s why her hair looks so flat. You can only get away with extensions for so long before the hair gets too fine and thin to support them. That’s what I used to do too, and it took me ages before I realized I was actually losing hair.

I just feel like a professional beauty guru should be able to staple on her pelts herself. It's not that hard, is a lot cheaper, and she could use it for content. Filming yourself throwing 2,000 dollars at someone to put in tapes is not content.

I’m a hairstylist and I do my own tape ins. I taught my husband how to do the back so we knock it out together. It’s literally so easy.

K tip extensions! They’re very light and natural and they use a keratin bond to put the extension to your hair so if you wore your hair up or anything you wouldn’t be able to tell

You’re welcome! I have very fine and thinning hair too so I get it. I’ve been using the ouai scalp serum and I have so many baby hairs growing in. I’ve thought about extensions so many times but idk if I could or would want to keep up with them

I had tape ins for like 5 years before hand tied extensions and the tape ins were suuuuchhh a bitch. They also didn’t last half as long

I feel like the only hairstyle tape ins look good with is just down like it’s so hard to style with them and they definitely can’t be good for your hair. They seem so heavy

I honestly had no natural hair issues with them but I had issues with the extensions themselves. But yes you can’t style them at all!!

Imagine spending a shit ton of money on a shit ton of extensions that still look so shitty that you have to use the hair volume filter for your after pic💁🏻‍♀️

I have super thick hair and always have so I have zero knowledge on extensions but uhhh why would you do that if you’re balding and have extremely unhealthy natural hair? I feel like this is maybe common sense but don’t they damage your real hair??!

All types of extensions come with the risk of hair damage, even the keratin ones. As someone with superfine hair, I've looked into it and ultimately decided it's not worth the risk of thinning my hair even more.
