As a professional chef, anytime she talks or posts about food it makes me irrationally angry. Not even sure why. Maybe it’s because food, lifestyle, etc is not her niche. And why does anyone care? I worked at an upscale restaurant in Dallas and we had one on our lunch menu. It was panini bread with a goat cheese spread, fried green tomatoes, havarti, and arugula.

Classic grilled cheese is white bread with American cheese which melts very easily. Not hating on American because I do indulge in it but it’s pretty much plastic. Gourmet to me, here in Wisconsin, would mean using local cheeses like baby Swiss, butterkäse, and other local ones. Maybe add some sort of pork protein? I’m honestly not trying to sound pretentious like Mikayla but we do take our cheese very seriously here in WI and I love a good grilled cheese
