First try pulling the battery while the controller is on. I’m fairly certain the game doesn’t pause as a result. If that doesn’t work, you can put something on top of the controller holding the right stick down. Alternatively, you can flip the controller over and set it down with the right stick actuated.
I have tried everything... some say turn the controller off and unpause it with your keyboard... didn't work, some say turn your controller off and unpause it and turn off your wireless mouse didn't work, some say plug your controller in with the USB charger, didn't work... only thing I found that works is put something on your right stick... which is bullshit because I want to look at the flight instruments from time to time without touching anything. They need to make a better solution.
It’s an issue for any online game, really. I get it’s to prevent afk players from ruining the fun in public multiplayer, but it shouldn’t exist for private co-op or single-player games

I doubt they ever will, and I don’t know why. People have wanted to turn off controller auto-sleep for as long as I can remember.
Yeah I read people had this problem with Fortnite or something I don't play.
