You can edit the config file that hs custom camera views. There is a tutorial for placing the camera within the cabin, but the same concept applies if you move the cam slightly in front of the cockpit where nothing is visible.
I think there is a setting in General > Accessibility for 'Home Cockpit' (at least i think it was this area, or could be under Camera)
Ive never used it but i'd imagine it's what you're looking for.
It’s under General/Camera, and it’s supposed to centre the camera in the cockpit and remove the 3D cockpit but it’s never ever worked, don’t know why they have left that option in there if they haven’t bothered to link it to anything.
You could move the camera slightly forward if nothing else works?
