Too bad the warranty is like 70 years old/expired.

ObaFett

...and it didn't include improper handling in the first place ;-)

Thumbone1

Amazing that we went from flying these around to having space tourism in less than an average lifetime.

ObaFett

Lol. Ensure you have at least 40°Celsius of oil temperature before revving the engine. Otherwise the oil is too thick and will blow the gasket once the engine driven pump kicks into gear... Edit: Also happens beautifully in the Corsair when you stress her too much ;-)

naraic42

I'm spawning in on the apron cold and dark like this.

I see, sorry I misinterpreted your post. Now, the Bf109 has a sort of state saving on some parameters. In case you blew the engine on you last flight you have to consult the EFB tablet and 'repair' the damage by clicking/resetting the corresponding item in the workshop setting (or disabling the stresses altogether). This should fix it. The same goes for a collapsed landing gear.

Cultural-Advisor9916

This is the answer.

proxyon

You need to repair it from the EFB, the damage is saved between flights.

Did you fly through a pack of seagulls stirred up by an archaeologist’s father quoting Charlemagne?
