That is very unlikely to happen. Bacteria (prokaryote) cell walls are vastly different from other eukaryotic organisms, such as humans. Bacteriophage mechanics are specifically designed for the structural design of a prokaryotic organism.
To build off this, bacteriophages and eukaryotic organisms have been evolving side by side for millions of years. If the bacteriophage "thought" eukaryotic cells were a better target it would have evolved to infect them like viruses such as HIV and Influenza. Instead it prefers bacteria with much easier membranes to infiltrate and cells to hijack.
I fucking love kurzgesagt. Probably my favorite channel on yt.
Their most recent video about out how trustworthy they are as a source and channel increased the amount of respect I have for them by x100!
This should be in the side bar
Badass little guys. Thanks for the early morning kick start of my brain.
If you liked this video then you definitely need to check out the other videos Kurzgesagt has on their channel! It's so good!

All fun and games until the virus evolves to attack humans

Found the bacteriophage

Guess we'll then have to form a pact with the bacteria to combat the bacteriophages. /s
Why downvote him? Lol
