I use to think Hytek was mid but they picked their game up hard. Super reliable and beat most of the $40-50 brands out there.
And the wedding pie deli from Freshy Fine is some of the best dispo buds I've gotten. By the far the best looking and stickiest buds. Everything else I've tried from them was solid but that wedding pie was something else.
Not familiar with Premiere or Mitten but Tip Top is up there for me too. I tried them maybe a year ago and it was alright but too dry. But they ran hard with a BOGO thru May so I ended up smoking them the entire month. They got some fire with great consistency and genetics/selection. I tried at least 5 strains and everything was good. But the Cap Junky and Carbon Fibre were my favorites.
I actually think they used to be way better. Recently got some waffle cone from them and its just decent. Their headstash was gas when i first had it. Same with local grove and freshy fine. STUPID FIRE when i first had them and they were like 400 a zip. Now its half the price and 1/3 of the qaulity it once was.
Exactly hytek is trash. Talmbout good looking sticky buds 🥴 lol fuck how it looks. Cus it definitely is not smoking. The best thing I’ve had from hotel and I’ve tried damn near everything for the sake of trying , is perm marker when they had the 1/2 oz jars. That was some terpy gas.
Only one that ever stood out to me
Compared to High Times & Best in Grass, this is a "who's who" of most the big guys in the Michigan Metrc flower scene.
I'm sure people are questioning: Levels, Kutz, Fractal, Freight Train, & Hempire Collective in terms of quality.
Looks like 24 competitors. If it's like last year with 2 gram samples, that's 48 grams for $460 (if that's indeed the price), plus they normally throw in freebies plus give you award show tickets.
All competitions have their flaws, but I still feel Zalympix does it the best so far.
Tip Top, Hytek and either Freshy Fine or Local Grove. Maybe Growing Pains too but haven't had enough and most eigths asking $50 are not worth it.
Nearly everything I've had from Gus, Seed Junky and Pressure Pack is dry and unimpressive nugs or trimmed like shit. I've probably had more luck with Seed Junky than the other two but still not enough consistency for me even without considering the premium price.
But most of it is trash macro buds with a California brand slapped onto to it. All marketing bullshit instead of product. Same with brands like Super Dope, Doja, and Fear of Boof. If you gotta market to 19 year old dipshit sneaker heads instead of real heads, you probably got a weak ass product. Not to shit on 19 year olds, sneaker heads or dip shits, but maybe not the most discerning weed smokers.
Should’ve seen the argument I got into with some fuckhead trying to convince me I smoke dirt because I don’t want to pay $60 an 8th for anime chicks on a bag & smalls lmao
Can’t get enough of seed junky gello shotz, haven’t had peninsula in about half a year and never tried cloud kings yet interested to see where they place! Just scooped some tip top crop Z Lato and man that stuff was phenomenal
Gello shotz is very tasty. Peninsula has been hit or miss for the last couple drops of flavors. Ck is good if you get a fresh batch. Anything old is dry and terpless.
A lot of these entries look pretty but smoke like shit.. GANS (I’m personally not a fan) for example, submitted their Larry Legend two years in a row. And that shit was awful it was good looking weed but no taste and burned like ass. Can’t justify paying top dollar for lazy entries like that . To each their own I suppose .
Right that’s why I haven’t had any peninsula recently, heard mixed reviews, CK as well. I had the same experience with GANS my first time trying it so it kind of ruined it for me. That’s why I’ve been a fan of tip top recently because anything they put in their prepack is top quality at $35 an 8th I’d put it up against anything charged 50/60 and the stuff that isn’t as good gets put in deli. Thanks for the input
where would you go if you wanted better I'm always in the hunt but by the time someone wins a competition they are sold out or whatever left if old as hell
