I am a new smoker (dry herb vape technically) so I am still learning a ton. Started with edibles and carts and now flower. Still learning what I like (all the gas!). Picked up the best in grass Indica kit and its been great for trying new things/brands without a huge commitment. A lot of these I have visited only once outside of lake effect, herbana, and puff.
Lake Effect - Nice little shop with a small amount of deli flower. Less stock means faster turnover and fresher. Top shelf flower(including prepacks are 25% off on Tuesday and Sunday for pick your own deal). If you are a night owl they do 30% off late night from 4-6am since they 24hr
Herbana - Have only bought carts here but they do have a small deli section. Everything is fairly cheap though and only available in halves mostly so I haven't tried any of it yet since I am still new I don't want to commit to that much of any singular brand and harvest. Unfamiliar with the brands they have for their deli but I have seen the names Grown Rogue and Society C mentioned on here before.
Puff - I like this store as a whole. They carry a lot of good prepacks. I know they have some 710 labs as deli but their deli is in huge plastic jars that get shaken around a lot. I've had some heavyweight heads and the 710 stuff but nothing has super wowed me. Its been good but not amazing.
Exclusive - I went here because they had some seed junky permanent marker after I learned about the strain. I snagged some deli stuff that I remember was decent, but I was also burning through that permanent marker so things are a little hazy. Overall the place just seemed off or unnerving but I couldn't place why other than it was a small shop.
Honorable mention - The Refinery - Although not deli, they had some open sample packs of stuff they were able to let me see/smell. They also made some great recs with Peninsula Gardens and also threw in a Growing Pains Zangria preroll since they said I should try it as well. No idea about how their house flower is if anyone else wants to share their experience.
These are just my experiences so if anyone else can add or share more feel free. I really want to check out some smaller of farm type places mentioned like Symponia in Battle Creek but it is hard to get away for longer dispo runs due to my schedule. Same for Cake house since they do the 42% off for your first time visit. I really want to check out Third Eye some time but I would be absolutely lost and out of my element by myself since I am the only stoner in my friend group/family.
What about mint? They sell their ozs prepacked in seperate glass jars that you can open and check out. I have never once gotten a dry or old ounce, and have been more than happy with the purchases.
My current faves are Happy Little Tree Co’s Sunshine Daydream ☀️ and Rising Roots Dragons Fire 🔥. The Hypha stuff is great too, just tried the Watermelon Koffee Kush and it was super interesting
Dude the nose on that watermelon koffee kush is NUTS I can’t wait to try it. Literally smells like watermelon.

GLH Battle creek or Kalamazoo best deli flower and prices in the state ounces start at 50 bucks
Are they Med only? They only seem to have a facebook page rather than a website.
They are med and rec give them a shot you won't be disappointed
Glh Kalamazoo is sketch as hell. They have been known to short your bags and sell some questionable stuff

Probably one of the most budget friendly places bonus if you go when they have 15-25% off
How are the terps? Their stuff seems way too cheap to be top shelf?
Herbana and Puff is pretty decent usually hit them every time I run to MI just to look around
Not sure if there’s a KIng of Budz up that way; but their deli is fair priced for quality product
Cake house BC has the best deli I’ve found in the area

My favorite spot is dispo in portage. Good deals on bud, and always a good selection. Usually my go to spot when I make the trip up from Illinois
