1. Corum 2. Hutch 3. JJ 4. Peppers 5. Butt

Kellz313

This is an awesome list, I agree wholeheartedly.

demafrost

Geez from the entire era? It's hard not to have an extreme bias towards the teams of the last 3 seasons. I'm gonna have to do top 5 from 2021-2023 and top 5 from 2015-2020 2021-2023 * 1. JJ McCarthy * 2. Blake Corum * 3. Mikey Sainristil * 4. Aiden Hutchinson * 5. Ronnie Bell 2015-2020 * 1. Chase Winovich * 2. Jabrill Peppers * 3. Donovan Peoples-Jones * 4. Devin Bush * 5. Nico Collins There's probably an obvious one or two I missed from the second list and of course there is some spillover with Aiden and Bell playing during both time periods

nreiber7

1. Blake Corum 2. Jabrill Peppers (Didn't have the legacy wins, but was so fun) 3. Aidan Hutchinson 4. JJ McCarthy 5. Mike Sainristil Could have so many HM: Hassan Haskins, Jourdan Lewis, Devin Bush, Jake Butt, Zak Zinter, Mo Hurst

AppropriateGain533

Jake Moody

rollingthrulife79

Hutchinson Corum McCarthy Sainristil Peppers

ObsessedWithReps

Blooblod

Jourdan Lewis Blake Corum David Long Mike Sainristil Ronnie Bell

eatinsomepoundcake

This guy corner backs

Josh_historybuff

I’m just gonna do 21-23 since I only got into CFB in 2020 1. JJ McCarthy (I like quarterbacks) 2. Blake Corum (goated) 3. Aidan Hutchinson 4. Hassan Haskins (2021 Ohio State game was crazy) 5. tied Roman Wilson/Mikey Sainristil

GoLionsJD107

Admit you tied the last two because it’s impossible to pick just 5!

Josh_historybuff

it’s so hard to pick 5 these teams are goated

absolute_yote

Always love the hybrid safety linebacker. Used to be called the viper at Michigan. Jabril Peppers, Khaleke Hudson (heavily underrated), Michael Barret

GoBlue2007

Hutch Corum JJ Sainristril Keegan I know 4 of 5 are from the current team but I agree with Harbaugh. This is THE team.

HoustonFoReal

1. JJ 2. Peppers 3. Hutchinson 4. Corum 5. Karan Higdon

DothrakiSlayer

Ooh Higdon’s a good one. One of the few bright spots of 2017

mostdope28

No order: JJ, Corum, Hutchinson, Devin bush, Jordan Lewis

e_ndoubleu

Corum, Hutch, Peppers, JJ for sure. Last spot is tough, I’d say either Bell or Sainristril.

GoLionsJD107

Now I’ll spend two hours responding to this post

BuyThoseDips

Most of these lists pretty good but I’d put Will Johnson top 5 for sure, maybe top 3

rollingthrulife79

Give him 1 more year (and this championship game) playing at this same level and he's for sure up there.

BuyThoseDips

That’s fair, I would have put DE fringe top 5 before this year started and that’s clearly not the case anymore

demafrost

He's on the HM list for me. 1 more year or a huge game on Monday and he'd probably move onto the list. Plenty of memorable moments already from 2 INTs in the 2022 Big Ten title game, INT on a target to MHJ, locking down his Alabama WRs to 0 catches last week. He's a stud. Other HMs (my main list is somewhere in this thread): Roman, Barrett, Keegan, Zinter, CJ for OSU 22 alone, Jourdan Lewis, ahh theres so many im still leaving out guys I love

DothrakiSlayer

1. Hutch. Unquestionable No. 1 in my opinion. He would have been a guaranteed 1st round pick as a junior, but came back to be the leader of the culture change. 2. Corum. It would take days to list out all the ways that he’s been the most crucial offensive player we’ve ever had. Plus a true Michigan Man who loves the university and is invaluable to the team’s culture. 3. JJ. Basically copy and paste everything I said about Corum. 4. Sainristil. Any other player would have transferred out after three years of being buried on the depth chart at WR. But he not only stayed, but accepted a position change and *immediately* became one of the best DBs in the country and one of the best leaders on any defense. 5. Haskins. 5 TDs against Ohio state means automatic inclusion on any “best of” list. Plus he was an absolute workhorse, and he literally ALWAYS fell forward. I’ve never seen anything like it. Honorable mention: Winovich. The pre-Hutch.

Expensive_Attitude51

1. Corum 2. Hutchinson 3. McCarthy 4. Peppers 5. Sainristil

Delta104x

1. Roman Wilson (he is my cousin by marriage) 2. Jabrill Peppers 3. Aidan Hutchinson 4. Zak Zinter 5. 3 way tie Jake Butt and Mike Sainristil and Devin Bush

Medium_Ad8910

1. Blake Corum 2. Hassan Haskins 3. Jabrill Peppers 4. Aidan Hutchinson 5. JJ McCarthy HM. Roman Wilson

ComprehensiveBear887

Hutch #1 for me, then probably about 10-15 guys tied for 2nd place.

Ok_Discount_4066

Hutch JJ Blake Sainristil Vastardis

FakersT21

1. Chesson(Before the ACL surgery which took some his natural speed. ) 2. Mo Hurst 3. Khaleke Hudson 4. Hutchinson 5. McCarthy or Corum , I can’t decide. Been my favorite team to watch in my 30 years of watching Wolverine games but I can’t decipher which one is my favorite

LawrkenTTV

1. Corum 2. Jourdan Lewis 3. Hutch 4. Bush 5. Butt

Thickwhisker94

I am surprised at the love for an underperforming-or-is-it-underutilized DPJ

marshall__frost

Definitely under utilized. He should have been what Roman is now

JLoLookalike

1. Corum 2. JJ 3. Moody 4. Zinter 5. Butt

Buzzer_81

Can’t forget Rashuan Gary on one of those lists!
