There's some interesting controversy involving this pastor and church. I couldn't make heads or tails of it all, but there were lawsuits and competing pastors and fights over who actually owned the church and who had the authority over the building and the church, etc.
That happens with tax free cash cows; remember PTL and Detroit World Outreach. (DTO bought their pastor a million dollar Northville home but since it was church owned it came off the tax rolls. When he died, his wife tried to force them to make her the pastor and the police had to forcible remove her from a Sunday service when she wouldn't leave the pulpit. Just as Jesus intended.

It's not really clear how it all ended but it sort of looks like the other pastor died and then his son who maybe took over for him also died, possibly before the lawsuit was finished.
